  1. We have the Chef's Table reserved for April on the Magic. So excited to try this, as this cruise will be very special for my fiancée and I. Honeymoon cruise, aft balcony cabin and now the Chef's Table. We are very budget conscious so we decided to splurge on this sailing because it's our honeymoon. And thankfully since our initial cruise got cancelled due to the repositioning of the Magic, we each got $50 OBC, so Chef's Table will cost $50 out of pocket which I consider to be an incredible deal! Also thinking of trying the steakhouse, maybe a couple more splurges. And this is my fiancée's second cruise, first was on Elation but now she gets to sail on my favorite ship, the Magic. Plus she gets to experience a balcony, which I'm sure she will love. Anyway, menu and pics would be great!!

  2. Ok I'm getting conflicting information. I have read before that the aft extended balconies in the middle are larger than the ones located next to the aft wrap (which is what I currently have booked). But I called Carnival and the rep said while she didn't mind switching my cabin, the cabins are all the same square footage.

Anyone have any experience with these cabins? Looking for some advice on whether or not I should make the move. Thanks in advance!!

  3. Boarding is definitely at the top of my list. Nothing like that smell of a cruise ship to welcome you to several days of a stress free life! A close second is the dining experience in the MDR. I love being waited on and having access to the entire menu every night. It kills me to have to settle on one item in a restaurant when I really want to try two or more!! Lol

  4. I received an email today from Carnival asking me to take a survey (it was about dining options, times, etc.). I happily completed it, but it has me wondering, does Carnival ever offer anything to those who complete them? It's really no big deal as I'm sure in the end, my input will be part of a better experience for all, but who doesn't like a freebie now and then? :)

  5. We got an up sell to a balcony on our sailing in 2013, 3 people, and the bunk was pulled down. I was the third person so I slept on the sofa, but got it ready for use during the day. The bunk we used for extra storage space.

  6. My girlfriend and I sail this cruise on the 29th! We are not seasoned cruisers (her first, my second) so I'm sure we won't be as critical about the room (although my first was on the beautiful Magic!). I'm not meaning any disrespect, but after so many cruises, I'm sure you've become accustomed to a certain level of quality. Thank you so much for the review!! :)
