Yeah when I went to the booking it allowed me to pick my cabin. I did a mock booking and the price was lower. I'm still getting used to booking my own as this is my second cruise, first one I've booked myself.

I booked a last minute cruise this week for the end of January. I noticed the price went from $209 pp to $189 pp. I haven't been assigned my room yet. Do I qualify for the lower rate? If so, do I just call my PVP and get OBC, or how does this work? Thanks in advance!!

Just got off the Magic on Sunday. I'm single and I had $1300.00 set aside to spend on the ship (overkill, I know). I spent a total of $388.00, that's with gambling, alcohol, a souvenir watch and almost $40 in candy for my Godchild. Keep in mind I brought $400 in cash for extra gratuities for exceptional service (I did prepaid gratuities) and port spending, and I spent all of that. I know everyone is different, but that might give you an idea.

Jealous! Drink one (or two!) for me! ;)

Tomorrow is the big day! Heading to Galveston to board the Carnival Magic!! The wait is almost over!!!

I rode a smaller boat at work yesterday (offshore work) and seas were a bit rough. But I can't imagine it being bad on a much larger cruise ship. This was a small cargo boat. Hope the seas are calm! We leave on the Magic on the 27th!!

I'm 34 and I've been drinking energy drinks for years. But I stay away from the Full Throttles and Monsters and stuff...only 5 Hours for me.

Same reason people smoke cigarettes and drink soda every day...I'm addicted!! I enjoy them usually midday instead of coffee.
