  1. Can recommend The Andante hotel in Barcelona. A small comfortable boutique style hotel, close the the port and Las Ramblas with a stunning view from the roof top infinity pool.
  2. We were on the Epic during the 2014 World Cup and they had most matches showing on the H2O screen. They also had a large framed schedule on an easel near the bar in O'Sheehans, on which they updated the scores every day. Most days there were different sets of fans, decked out in the national colours, making their way aft to see their team.
  3. Was on the Escape last year and left St Thomas about 4pm on NYE. Later on, we were in the District Brewhouse and being from the UK we had a countdown at 8pm (midnight back home). Then we realised the large party on the next table were also checking their watches and were obviously also from the UK. It was nice to raise a glass to everyone before the messages started flying in from back home. The ship was well decorated right through till NY and a great atmosphere on board.
  4. Athens still requires covid tests pre boarding. The only change for this port seems to be antigen can now be taken 3 days prior rather than 2 days.
  5. Hi Ziggy Glad you had a great cruise. Can you answer a quick question about the tests from Qured. What date did you put when ordering the tests? Its asks for flight date so is this the date they assign you a video consultation? We are sailing on a sunday, flying to Athens on the saturday so was hoping to do the tests on the friday. Cheers
  6. We did the same Pompeii trip and, like you, when we got dropped off back at the pier, we headed out to try the pizza. We went to Pizzeria Napoli in Bocca which is very close to the Cruise Port on the outside of the Galleria Umberto I. Fantastic pizza at a great price.
