I really want to try Norwegian but there are an awful lot of bad food reviews and comments. Scared me away. All the lines have a few but Norwegian gets more bad food reviews by a landslide.

I never understand the people that come onto a forum and complain about people being on the forum. Go read the reviews if that's what you're here for. The forum is MEANT for people to ask questions and have discussions...

Agree who gives a crap. Everything been hashed over a million times. Don't click on a thread if u feel it's been over discussed.

I actually never order steak in the MDR. I usually save that for the steakhouse. Also I don't understand how people eat a well done steak. IMO it just dries it out.

There are no kiddie pools on any Carnival ship that I am aware of. When I sailed on the Dream in June I found no huge buffets at all hours of the night, just the grill area opened for approx. 90 minutes as I recall. If that's not the case I'm sure someone will correct me :D I haven't been on Royal in awhile but I found their food to be on par with Carnival's.

 

FWIW, I find the melting cake to be gross. I found other desserts to be better although it appears my favorite is being dumped from the menu.

There are kiddie pools on most of the Carnival ships.

Grand Turk and La Romana were nothing special but Curacao and Aruba was very nice.

Grand Turk is one of my favorite stops. Huh But I am a beach person and they have a great one.

I like that they are getting rid of the waste of space cigar bar and putting in a Red Frog Pub.

Smart move. Also they ate not moving Freedom to Galveston.

I wouldn't pay for FTTF. Never waited more than 15-20 min to board or more than 30 min to get into room. We always go to cabin early always ready. That's 7 cans of Fosters I can buy with that money.
