I did.....I am sure it was just me not knowing what I was doing.  I like to think I'm "tech savvy"....LOL   NOT!!    We sail again in May so I'll be sure to have the WhatsApp as a "fail safe" to stay in contact with the pet sitter/family, etc.  

I can never get iMessage to work. Are there any settings on your phone that need to be changed once on board?.....besides airplane mode, etc.  I don’t fully understand the technical side...😣

I used to live in the area (League City, TX) and Webster is very nice.  There are tons of restaurants, stores and a mall in that general area.  Not too far from I-45 will be NASA Johnson Space Center.  There will be hotels in that area but may be a little more money.  Staying along I-45, you would be close to a variety of things to do.

We also had a great time on this cruise!! I remember when Cookie said "pineapples" in one of his first announcements....hysterical!!! :') He was fantastic and yes, his Q & A was great!!

Great review so far!! Sailing on the Magic May 19th!!

Penne marisco, cheesecake from seaday brunch, chocolate peanut butter pie from lido.

My go to special order dinner is a large ceasar salad with a flat iron steak on top.

 

They make an apple dessert that is delicious, found on the lido. It's some kind of sliced apples with cinnamon, and a crumble on top. More like a cobbler than cake or pie.

Yes, yes, yes, to this apple dessert!! :D

Hi Jeff! Thank you so much for your wonderful review of the Magic! We just booked this itinerary for May 19th. We've sailed the Magic back in 2012, but we've never been to these ports (Cozumel several times) and it was great insight and information as to what to do/see! Thank you again!

Thank you Kim for such a wonderful review!!! We just booked this exact cruise for May 19th yesterday! All these ports will be new to us other than Cozumel (been there many times). Do you have any excursion suggestions for 1st timers to Belize/Costa Maya/Roatan, et. al.? Thank you so much again! :D
