Has anyone come across a tour in the Naples region with this:
Guided visit to Pompeii, hike Vesuvius, with pizza-making class for lunch in Naples or near by the other sites?
Ideally one that includes transport... and is super kid friendly.
*If something like this doesn't exist - what tour company would recommend for me to approach for a customized tour?
thank you!

It sounds like a very comprehensive tour and LivTours has a good reputation. Why are you worried about it being canceled?
First - there is warning on their page and when I researched into tours companies for the colosseum - there were a lot of mentions of cancelations due to the way access to tickets is managed.

For our cruise in July we ended at Civi and a few days before the end we got something in our room from Royal about them arranging transportation for various things so we went to guest services and they booked a shuttle to the train station for us. I do not remember the cost. It was so easy we had taken our luggage off the ship and saw one of the employees who had us wait until the other family who was apparently sharing with us arrived. The shuttle was right there as we walked out of the terminal and were dropped off right in front of the train station. Just had to buy our tickets and see which track the next train to Rome was on and get there and stamp our tickets in the green things along the way.
Your cruiseline sounds organised! I hope that Disney does this even though it's our debarkation day.

I am about to book this tour with Livtours - https://livtours.com/tours/private-colosseum-guided-tour-with-underground-ancient-rome/
Have you done this tour? I'm worried about it getting canceled and wanted to hear other people's experiences.
Thanks!

We need to get from our ship in Civitavecchia to either the bus OR train to go to Rome - Can someone please take me step-by-step about how this works?
I have tried to research this - but have some questions:
- How far does the shuttle pick you up from your ship to take you to Largo della Pace (entrance of the port?) ?
- Is there any PRIVATE transfer that I can book that will pick up directly at the ship and take us to the train station in Civitavecchia?
I need to minimize the number of changes with 2 kids and 4 suitcases.
Thank you!

We are on the 4 night Disney Wish next week. Two random questions:
1) When we cruised back in 2019 on Magic we received silver lanyards with a plastic holder - for our Key to the World cards.
--- do they still give out lanyards? Or should we bring our own?
2) Is there a captain's reception?
When we did 7 nights on Magic there used to one held in the atrium.
Thank you 🙂

The salon is all booked up EVERY SINGLE DAY. Is there a way to still get an appointment? Waitlist? Due to cancellations? Where do I go and when? Do I keep checking online every day or go on the ship when I board?

They are not requiring reservations anymore, at least on Wish. We went at about 3pm on boarding day and were able to get a table and a drink.
thank you!

How hard is it to get into the Starwars Lounge? Is there a best time to go to make sure we can get a drink there?
(We are on the 4 days Merrytime Cruise on Wish Dec 12)

Hi! Will menus change for the Merrytime cruise? Thanks!

hi - just to note - that the blog is VERY misleading and so is the title of this thread. There are NO cancellations for Europe if you read the full text. Disney just took down the sailings from their website.

You also need to read Disney's quote within the blog.

Purchased $58/day in early December for a 7-day Baltic cruise on Jewel. Received an email offer for $51/day yesterday and easily made the switch.
hi! how did you make a switch after you purchased it? (i've never cruised on RCL) thank you in advance!

With our Capital Venture card, if we charge travel expenses to the card, we can then apply our reward points to pay for the travel expenses on the credit card statement. Approved expenses includes "cruises" - but does that mean the book or other associated expenses? My questions are:
1) Has anyone used the Capital Venture card to pay for onboard stateroom charges?
2) Were you able to use your Capital Venture reward points to pay for those travel expenses that were charged to your card?
3) If I PREPAY my onboard charges with the Capital Venture card (so I put a credit onto my stateroom account) - does that count as a travel expense that can be covered by reward points through Capital Venture?
4) If i buy a Disney gift card - is that considered a "travel expense" and therefore I can use Capital venture points to pay the transaction on my bill.
Thanks in advance. -
The Disney Blog only had 1 Navigator available for the British Isles 7 night cruise.
Does anyone have any of the British Isle Navigators?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
if you're facing the duty free shops in the terminal - the stand was to your left. I think the brand was called "Orange".
-
in the Barcelona cruise terminal there was/is a stand that sells SIM cards that can be used throughout Europe! It cost 15 euros and it gave me a lot of minutes (100?) plus 6GB.. I used it my entire cruise. It had a Spanish phone number but you can call many European countries using the minutes included in your package. no extra charge.
I highly recommend it!

i can only see Day 1 navigator? how come i can't see the navigators on the following posts? It says Personal Navigator Day 2 - but there is no link....
-
thanks! i didn't know that about street view!
-
i see on google maps it's about a 20 minute walk. BUT is the route walkable? pedestrian friendly? thanks!
-
i'm using Tours by Roberto (Becchi) - i used him for my wedding, my anniversary and now this cruise. I love him!
-
since i'm relatively new to Disney - of course double shows is good for me. but i definitely would have a problem if i were more seasoned, paid a premium and then didn't have a good entertainment line up!
-
thank you! very helpful!

Hi all,
Has anyone used Pinnochio Tours? I'm looking to use them for a Pompeii trip but would like to hear from others about their experience.
Thanks!
