Could you visit Cape Town before you board? It certainly is an interesting city that deserves several days. Then Namibia might be njcd to visit forca few days.

Some lines do not oermit one to book an excursion on dusembarkation day…unless it eventually goes to the airport…could thatbe the issue.

All of the dogs are handsome, but that pup sitting in that position, is beyond. My daughter has a chocolate lab…they are great.

An hour in a taxi to visit Shell Beach and some other lovely spots..end up at the restaurant next to EdenRock. Agree about down town unless you really enjoy shopping. Many of the lovely french cuisine restaurants are now closed or closed for lunch. On another line, we took a catamarans snorkel cruise w drinks and snacks as we returned…very pleasant.

I have so enjoyed the commentary and spectacular photography of the posters. Mysty, you seem to be truly enjoying yourselves, even with disappointing fellow travelers. I look forward to following along w segment 4. Paula

Thank you for the absolutely fabulous photography. All were beautiful but I found the Abbey particularly breathtaking. Hopefully SS steps up to the tarmac and correctly resolves flight issues. I have the feeling that they have confused themselves with their changes in marketing.Paula

I thought that I was totally befuddled…..but I just checked and we on a 11/18 sailing of Sojourn. Pray tell me that this is not its first return to service!

We are on Sojourn in the Caribbean in Nov as a treat for a special occasion. I have enjoyed most of the upscale lines, including SB. We stopped sailing them due to declining restaurant offerings. So why did I book? Because there are not too many ships in that area in Nov. i am getting very anxious since the posts about ‘disappointing’ cruises often point to these very issues. Does anyone have any recent experience on Sojourn? the only other possibility is the well reputed Silver Moon….but getting to and back from Barbados is not simple these days….…and we have a young man whom I thought would appreciate the less formal vibe. Opinions please. I am quitetempted to change but it is going to be a mess!

Increasingly I am reading posts that express disappointment in posters’ recent SB cruise…but with no details offered. We have a fall sailing w payment coming due soon. Would really appreciate recent cruisers offering details of their disappointment. Thank you.

We have never done this but wish to do it for our next cruise. I have found DHL, Luggage Forward, Luggage Free,and My Baggage. if you have other resources, I would appreciate their names….also whether you would give a + or a - to the service you utilized. Bags will be shipped east coast to Barcelona and return from Lisbon. Thanks, Paula
