  1. They will take walkups depending on availability.
  2. I can never understand why it is important to know if tips are pooled or not. The crew signs a contract knowing and agreeing to various requirements, including compensation. It's not my place to ask how they are paid. I give extra tips to those who go what I consider above basic service levels. If it is in a dining venue with different servers throughout the cruise I give an envelope to the hostess or Maitre d for the staff. I also fill out attention to detail cards to recognize some one who has been particularly helpful.
  3. No, we are Elite+ and got the email a few days ago. I was able to connect and found it a waste of time. It did have some good graphics and avatars but I found navigation clunky. I can watch U-Tube videos of the same thing.
  4. You get Luminae and the Retreat, 2 bottles of alcohol, unlimited specialty dining, bottle of champagne, free laundry and dry cleaning. These are the amenities. You do not get the premium beverage package, upgraded WIFI, pre paid gratuities and additional OBC which are considered perks. If you book the RS instead of a move up, you would get the perks that come with the suite as well as the amenities.
  5. Except for the bar at Eden, which is above the restaurant and not part of it, the Specialty restaurants don't have bars. If you go to dinner at one you can order a drink and it will most likely come from a nearby bar. If you see something on a menu that you want to try see if you can order it from a bar.
  6. We board Reflection on New Year's Eve and expect it to be a Chic night. My husband will bring and wear his tux 2 nights. His choice and we don't care what others are wearing as long as they follow the dress code. I will also wear an evening outfit, but not a gown.
  7. We sail in the Retreat but are not sun lovers. Doesn't matter to us if there is a retreat sun deck or not. IMO the Reflection is in good shape so don't need to wait for the Revolution.
  8. Thanks, our Reflection cruise, also in a RS, is coming up.
  9. I don't know what time they opened but they were there at 8AM.
  10. There was some crazy pricing today. Just booked Beyond, 11 night Panama Canal sailing. For December 2024.
  11. Years ago Celebrity held a wine connoisseur dinner in Tuscan. I haven't noticed it recently but maybe they are bringing it back. We went once or twice. Similar to a Chef's table but held in the main part of Tuscan. I remember there being 8 people at our table. Wine was paired with each course.
  12. I am a co administrator on another social media site for an upcoming cruise. This person, or someone similar, posted the "T-shirt made by my autistic son". It was reported and deleted.
  13. I think 18 is a lot, probably 12 when the change from a cabin attendant and assistant was made. We just opted for the Go Green program which I hope will cut down on the attendants work load.
  14. Call Celebrity or your TA. Keep the same booking number, just have them switch it to a different sailing.
  15. Celebrity adds in the perks to your booking invoice then applies a credit to remove them. Gratuities take the longest to be removed. The web site is not the best and they always give the option to prepay gratuities regardless of how you booked. As Four Nines said you can log into your account and verify the beverage package and WiFi. If you were given OBC you will see it on the Plan My Cruise page. The booking confirmation uses codes to indicate the perks. If you want the insurance give Celebrity a call. I know there are some states that don't permit buying insurance direct from Celebrity.
  16. No, we've never done this but when in an upper level suite with 2 free bottles of alcohol they are the larger bottles so sure this is what they are selling. 1 bottle plus mixers and a snack or 2, not the mini bottles.
  17. Once you have a reservation look under Plan My Cruise, Beverages. Mine is at the bottom of the list. for an 8 night cruise with a prepurchase discount it is $94.99 for classic and $122.99 for premium. There is probably a 20% gratuity added at checkout.
  18. I used to put my jewelry in the safe every night. Now I get lazy and just put it in a drawer. Our last 2 cruises there was a jewelry box on the vanity that I used. I've left small bills, tablets, phone our with no issues. Cash, wallet and passports go in the safe and stay there until we disembark. We were on one Celebrity ship years ago when a verbal altercation broke out in the theater. Security was there as soon as the voices were raised and escorted everyone involved out of the theater. On another cruise an older man fell down the steps. Crew, officers and security were there before he could even attempt to get up.
  19. I just checked the app every day for our upcoming cruise on Reflection and the sirloin is showing every day. Doesn't mean it will not change the closer we get to the sailing.
  20. It is still showing on Reflection for our sailing.
  21. We were able to book a reservation on Beyond 2024 for Le Voyage.
