It is a good idea to break it up into three different dates as last year there were sooooo many in attendance.

Was the invite to everyone who'd made Signature level during a specific time period? I'd imagined that would be a high number of casino players so 3 dates on Wonder OTS is needed to spread out the invitees.

  2. Just off B2B sailings on Brilliance. All photos were 8x10 size and priced at $22.95 each.

On Odyssey, the week prior and all photos were $24.95 and only 8x10 size offered.

Haven't seen the smaller (5x7 or 6x8) port photos in awhile. Maybe special orders.

I think you'll have to wait a bit longer. Due to its preferred popularity, they'll probably reinstate Tianjin first as a homeport before Shanghai. And you'll only get this itinerary if it's repositioning to Singapore, which should only occur once.

Yes, we did the Quantum 12N Beijing (Tianjin) - Singapore repositioning in Oct 2019 and it was wonderful! The ports were Fukuoka, Taipei, Hong Kong,  Hue Danang, Ho Chi Minh. Would love to do this/similar itinerary again.!

Seems like a big improvement but doesn’t match celebrity edge retreat or MSc yacht club.

Yes, MSC definitely got it right! You really don't have to leave the Yacht Club area unless going on a tour or departing the ship, both with a Butler escort.  Enjoyed a wonderful 20N cruise experience on our Miami-Brazil repositioning sailing!

Currently on the Brilliance and I was told the same thing.
Fortunately I know a great TA (thank you)

    @taznremmy

Hi Pat, I'm also currently on the Brilliance with my husband. We have the same great TA!

My friend Joyce and I sat next to you nightly at dinner on the Voyager Arctic Crossing cruise! We'll be boarding on the LA-Brisbane segment, so will miss you then. My husband and I will be on the last two segments (Copenhagen-Miami)

How has your internet been along the way?

The internet has been great the entire cruise! I've been on my phone and tablet more than usual on a cruise as I had to take care of some legal and medical business for a family member.  Was able to do a Zoom meeting and 30-minute conference call with no drops! Only once did I have to re-log into my wifi account since my initial login.

  7. To compare water pricing against another cruiseline: HAL is charging $37.99 (incl 18% service charge ) for twelve 12-oz cans!  That's $3 per 12 oz can.

Guests aren't allowed to bring on any plastic bottles of water either at embarkation or at the port. Guest can bring on up to six liters or twelve cans (500 ml or less) per stateroom.

Back last July they were giving out plenty Oasis class offers...some that were for as far out as this March right now...as well as Odyssey and yes saw offers for Wonder also.

Yes!  There are/were plenty of casino promo offerings for Oasis and Quantum class ships - 18N TP (Sydney-Hawaii), 14N Symphony TA (Mar 9th), many other Allure, Oasis, Harmony, Odyssey & Quantum itineraries. Balcony & JS cabins offerings too.

I'm ready to book the Fall 2025 Allure TA the moment it opens for booking (which I know won't be for some time).  Might just recycle the canceled Fall 2020 Allure TA spreadsheet ;o)))

Ditto. @TeearaAlthough we had a good time on the Wonder TA last fall, it'd be fun to finally get that Allure TA checked off as we chatted about it for so long before RC switched ships! 😆

It wasn't Starlimk.  Not sure what crossing you were on but on our May Jewel crossing after we made the left turn to Bermuda,  unplanned,  internet went downhill for us.  Probably didn't realign with a new satellite when we changed course.

We were on the Jewel TA (Apr 29-May 13) and logged in using our phones and my tablet. Surprisingly we had great connections as I did several Zoom meetings and a memorial service online! We were in a GS right next to the RS - midship.

The 2nd leg (a music charter) of the B2B was great for most of us also.

  11. Fairmont Hotels in Vancouver: I understand there are three properties and, as stated previously,  the Fairmont Pan Pacific and Fairmont Waterfront are across from the cruise terminal. I've been told the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is about 5 blocks away. Just trying to verify proximity and without considering pricing alone, any pros and cons of one other the other?  Want to spend 2N there post-cruise to sightsee and hit the "must see" tourist spots for my first visit.  Thanks for any insight you can share!

I think WiFi is only included on Royal suite class (Oasis and Quantum) class ships

I thought WIFI was only free on ships with Royal Suite Class ie Oasis & perhaps Quantum?

Correct. Wifi is only included as a free perk for those in a GS and above (Royal Suite class) on the Oasis and Quantum class ships

An 11 AM flight out of Hobby *HOU) is doable with self disembarkation (40 miles).  Would not recommend for Intercontinental Airport as it is at least 1-1/2 hours travel time (70 miles) and on the north side of Houston.

@Galveston Cruiser A related question you may be able to help on. Any suggestions for a shuttle service from IAH to Galveston for pre-cruise hotel stay (Home2Suites on Seawall)?  Take Uber or Lyft?

Will use RC's transfer for post-cruise transportation and early evening flight. Thanks much!

Example:  In my closet on the Enchantment this week, the hangers are those annoying things that don't have their own hooks, but have little arm things that you stick into plastic holders on the closet rod.  They don't move those.  So in this instance, you have to put everything in your suitcases.

This may account for some of the different reports.

Yes, good point. I dislike those hangers/plastic holder combos. The reason I put most of our things on lightweight non-slip or slacks hangers from our wonderful cleaners.

BTW: Do u remember the Concierge's name on EN?
