Do you realize you are contradicting yourself with your definition? You say present is not the same as accompanied, but then in defining accompanied you use the word present. So, it seems they are the same thing.

 

In addition, the last time my son took a shower WITH one of our sons was back in early elementary and even then it was in a family changing room at the Y.

 

My hope for this young man is that the "sexual conduct" was touching or trying to grab him. Sounds like the incident was fairly quick. I also hope his parents tell him repeatedly how proud they are of him for alerting someone to what had happened.

We're new to the beverage packages. Are they worth it? I see that you can only get one drink at a time. Can you just go right back up to the bar to get a second drink or are they paying attention and don't let that happen?

If you want hundreds of opinions on them. go to the search function and type in "drink package" and you'll get hundreds of responses and everything you ever wanted to know about them. There is a new thread on this several times a week, so type it in and set aside a couple hours to read it all

Would you recommend the train/cruise for someone who walks with a walker? My husband is drooling over your pix and so wants to try it. How much actual walking could he avoid? could I handle luggage for both by myself and what about stairs in the actual train. Thanks so much. And thanks for your efforts in sharing your journey with us.

Be advised the stairs are steep.....but have no fear....they have an elevator on the trains to get you between floors !

boy o boy......we're talking about splitting hairs here! I've never seen or heard of any tape measures or scales pulling pulled out to verify these type figures. As mentioned......they're looking for the # of bodies. My guess is if you got somebody that needs that criteria, and they're anywhere close to those figures, it's a go (like within 75 #'s and 30 inches.....LOL :D)

So I sign on to my booking........"From* $20 USD Adult" (for 1 device)

O.K. I'm game........$20.......I can handle that. Click through a couple of screens......whoa......not $20.....It's $20 per day......They forgot to mention that aspect in the beginning (even in the fine print !) Why can't they be upfront about it ????

I was 99% that was the case.......but maybe there was a glitch and it truly was only $20 for our cruise.

This happened Thurs afternoon on a plane out of Ketchikan. All 8 were apparently on a shore excursion through the Westerdam.

I feel sorry for the 8 passengers and the pilot that perished. (along with their families) :(

The part that really hits home, just over 30 days ago, that could have been me ! I didn't fly with Promed, but it could have been the company with who I was with...... or any other company.

I noticed in at least one article that the weather looked really bad. I sure it wasn't a case where they shouldn't have been flying, and tried it anyhow. It sounds like it's not going to be able to get to the wreckage.

I did unlimited recently on the Regal......and no......you can't get credit for your free mins. My spouse got free mins and I got unlimited. You can bet I was hoping they'd give me like $50 or $75 off the unlimited in place of the 150 mins or whatever it is......nope...... wouldn't budge on that.

Edited to say......we were aft, and the signal was debatable in the cabin, and we had no signal on our balcony !

Is that 2 cruises you're doing or 3 ? (because I think the TA one is 18 days) You mind sharing what the mini to PS ran? Nice to see Haffner took good care of you....he is such a nice gentleman.

Happy to report that at 8 pm tonight they finally fixed my OBC! And the wonderful fellow who runs the concierge lounge is the one who left me the message.

 

Today in the Sanctuary was nice BUT way too darn hot to enjoy. Princess tried their best and ran frozen towels all day as well as water and Evian spray but boy... you could fry an egg up on deck!!

 

Dinner tonight in Sabatinis was exceptional again.. If you all want great service then David is your guy. He has served us twice for dinner and every breakfast and we have so enjoyed it.

 

Jonathan was once again a major source of entertainment and enjoyment. He literally had the bar singing and screaming for about an hour tonight at Vines.. So many people close the place, it was crazy! So many of us agreed that this was the best entertainment we had see the entire sailing. I really hope that they know what a treasure he is. Jonathan is sweet and kind and goes out of his way at every step to make you feel special. After 15 cruises, I can honestly say he is one of the kindest crew members that I have ever met.

 

Again, 3 days is just way too short. I know that there are many people on here complaining and bitching at the desk. I stood next to some guy today who cut his tips to $5 each per day for his cabin, so $30 total. And he felt he was being generous at that! So many people have complained about things and cut their tips. I have never seen anything like it! The crew on board has been working so hard.

I just hope that the reports are correct and since I left my tips in place that all the cash I handed over get to be had by those crew members who helped to make this short cruise exceptional

You must be referring to Haffner......the best concierge in the fleet ! He is such a nice gentleman

are you able to tell me if they offer the unlimited internet package like they did on the Regal ? if so, how much was it? (for how many nights)

Good news.......I'm told PCL does 1 trip a day to Canada Place.....and that's that 1345 one !

Still mapping out what we want to do......who to book what with......I may book Seattle on my own and then book the other "legs" with Clipper Vacations

We don't land until like 7:30......so that night is history. That gives us the next day to see Seattle . We flew into Seattle so we could see the sites (vs leaving right away)

Let me see if I can figure what day it goes to the pier.....I'm sure with my luck it'll be the next day (<:

Wow......some fabulous information !! I really appreciate that. We're in the area mid May for what it's worth......I notice Butchart closes at 5.....but I was told the ferry leaves Seattle about 7:30......so I'd like to think we'd have plenty of time to visit there. We plan on being in Seattle for about 36 hrs and doing the touristy thing there (the needle and Pike's and ????) then got to Victoria for 24 hrs and end up at Canada Place is what we're trying to pull off.

Anybody happen to know about the Pacific Coast Line bus if it goes to Canada Place ultimately?

We sail at 6, so 1345 would be OK......as a matter a fact, that is what they are wanting to sell me. (just what you describe) They're wanting over $600 for the 2 of us to do that........That's why I was hoping there might be a more reasonable offer (short of bringing a pop up tent along :eek: )
