  1. Assuming (hoping?) that Grand Cayman might open to cruise passengers by December 21 , are there any resorts that offer day passes to those passengers?
I have found Holiday Inn does but wondering if there might be another a bit more 'luxe' ?

    Many thanks!

  2. Oh no, sorry ...I meant we’d both do Aqua class but the problem is solved!
I asked if they could consider a suite and a suite it is ! Booked today !
now, we wait .....and wait 🥴

Thank you all for the great tips and suggestions. Very much appreciated.

  3. I don't really want the preoccupation of trying to get them to bend the rules anyway to be honest.

I may just do a balcony, but not sure I can do 52 days of BLU as the dining option. We can mix it up with specialties I suppose...

Correct me if I'm wrong - Eclipse is scheduled to be 'revolutionized' next month still?

If you want to forfeit Luminae, you can join them in MDR, they cannot join you in Luminae.  So yes, you answered the question, it will be an issue with the scenario you propose.  Me thinks though that you already knew the answer prior to "asking".

Many thanks to all and yes, I kind of already did know the dining room assignment would be different and a bit of an obstacle. We’re on Eclipse, sorry should have added.

We could dine with them in the MDR perhaps and space available, they with us occasionally , might be do able.

    Thank you!

  5. We’re looking at doing 4 -B2B sailings hopefully !! In September 22 - friends may join us which is lovely. Problem is we’re thinking of a Sky Suite and they may do a balcony - dining together will be an issue won’t it? ☹️

  6. Anyone had experience regarding obtaining Vietnam visas onboard Celebrity?

Thier website says they provide , reservations are unclear and recommend getting ahead of time.

This is for Canadian and UK citizens.

I’ve also posted on the Asia ports boards..

    thanks !

You are correct that if you book on board any booking you do on the ship will automatically be assigned to the TA who has the booking for the cruise you are on;  precluding you from shopping around and transferring.
However, you can request that the booking remain with Celebrity and sign a form to that effect.  Then you have 60days from the date of the booking to shop around for group rates, OBC added perks or whatever is the best deal for you.

    Yes, of course

  9. You can book on-board and the book on-board confirmation will go to the agent that booked the sailing you’re presently on. If the agency holds group space on the new sailing booked - they can move you into that space - your book on-board offers will carry over and are usually combineable with group amenities as well. You will have to increase to full deposit to get into the group allocation. It’s a win-win !
