  1. Our full payment (including taxes and fees) is a few hundred lower than the current published price.
  2. Has anyone (besides the Schmoopies) actually booked the Feb 6 cruise? Since we booked it several weeks ago, our cabin price has increased a few hundred dollars. Might want to jump on it, if interested.
  3. No, surprisingly enough. But will definitely make a pilgrimage on this cruise.
  4. We're all thinking about a 2026 cruise...when NCL gets around to putting out schedules. As for the spreadsheet, don't steal @cruiseny4life's thunder, since it was his creation. But thanks for bumping back up, so more people can see it.
  5. Good point about the Super Bowl party. I would imagine the ship should have the game on most, if not all, TVs. If not, we're in PV until 9:00, so it should be on in bars. Can't miss the Packers hoisting the Lombardi trophy and bringing it back home where it belongs. We've also been to most of these ports and will anticipate having the ship to ourselves on several days. Shorter lines at the bars. The Schmoopies hate waiting for drinks. Well, maybe hate is too strong of a word. I'll go with strongly dislike. There...much better.
  6. They're saving that name for when they roll out the Scrubbing Class.
  7. Hurry up and book one of the many one-day cruises NCL offers.
  8. Eagerly awaiting the release of their newest ship in the Dishwater Class, the Palmolive.
  9. They can try to Getaway from the ribbing, but won't succeed. We, on the other hand, will be joyfully joyful on the Joy. I just realized that NCL has two ships named after dish detergents.
  10. We always book our specialty restaurants as soon as the window opens up, As for MDR reservations, we've never made one. We always show up at the dining room when we're ready and we've never waited more than a couple of minutes (if that). Usually walk right in.
  11. New Orleans will be a madhouse when they debark, with the Super Bowl on February 9th. But I guess I can understand, since my Packers will be playing in it.
  12. Having a job is overrated. (Coming from someone who has been retired since 2015)... Seriously, I'm bummed about not meeting you on this cruise. But there's always 2026...
  13. If NCL comes out with a 2026 itinerary with Kotor, Corfu, Split, Dubrovnik, et al, we may be first in line.
  14. We were on the Escape for a TA a in 2022 and are back on her again in less than three months. Needless to say, we like that ship.
  15. Well, the cruise that @cruiseny4lifeand hubby have booked is not yet within final payment. Maybe a little arm-twisting might be in order.
  16. So...if I'm not mistaken (highly unlikely, I know) it looks like we're close to locking in the Feb 6, 2025 Joy cruise through the Panama Canal for Schmoopiefest? As noted, we booked this a while ago, hotel and plane reservations already made. For those who can't make this one, we could also plan Schmoopiefest 2026, as well.
  17. To be honest (or as the kids say...TBH), this would be ideal for us. Mrs. Schmoopie has her heart set on going to Croatia in 2026, so if everyone could work it out to do this one in 2025...
  18. Feb 5-21. From LA to Miami. We also did Miami to LA in 2019.
  19. MSP is a long way away. We're in the southeast. We typically fly out of ORD...we hate that airport but they have better choices and lower prices than MKE.
  20. We're booked on the Joy next February for a Panama Canal cruise. If anyone wants to push the date from 2026 to 2025, that would be an option. Although, it's 15 days, so probably not too many takers.
  21. You're not getting off that easy. Looks like we need to stick with NCL to get the lowdown on your fabulous self.
  22. At least this is an issue that will be going away soon. Haven't you heard? NCL is going under/out of business/bankrupt. (If you read some of the discussion in the thread about the IT Department moving.)
