  1. I booked my interior room on NCL.com myself. I couldn't figure out how to choose my own room at the time, so I just took the one they assigned to me. Then I get an email a few days later saying that I am booked in an accessible room. It also said in the email that if I don't need the room, they can reassign me at any time. I'm totally fine with that because obviously I don't want to take a room from someone who needs it. I guess my question is, will we get in "trouble" for having this room if we don't need it? I didn't pick it. It's the one they assigned to me. Do I need to call them and request a change (I liked the location of the room) or just wait and see what happens?

  2. I read my T&C. They are stating the legal notice on the website gives them the right to make any change to the product they want to. Including changing the names of cabin types and moving you into a different room than you booked - I said "so you could reclassify an interior as a mini suite and move me if you wanted to?" And the answer was "yes". That conversation alone is enough to have me rethinking whether I'll book NCL in advance ever again. As a last minute thing when I know exactly what I'm getting? Maybe. I'm telling you that their philosophy has changed. Do with it what you will. False advertising is false advertising in my view.

And- Margaritaville as complimentary was not a misprint. It was advertised as such for a year.

When I called the woman actually said, "We can change anything we want anytime we want. We change things all the time. "

  3. Why is it not the fault of the cruise line that designs a restaurant with 30 tables but designs a galley for it that can only handle 15 tables?

Why is it not the fault of the cruise line for not having longer opening hours to spread out the demand?

Why is it not the fault of the cruise line for not planning for enough staff to handle the demand?

The guest don't make the decisions and they are not at fault because NCL can't get their act together and will do anything to get more money from its passengers.

    Well said!!!

  4. I'm reading the not so wonderful reviews about the Escape, and it's making me second guess our choice. We are not picky about food, so we aren't doing any specialty dining (plus we have a kid with us). I mainly eat just to keep from getting dizzy, but I want to be able to eat without having to wait over an hour! It sounds like the que for the MDR is ridiculous. Can you make a reservation or is this an ongoing problem with "freestyle dining". I'm also wondering about eating at other places such as Margaritaville or O'Sheehans. Do you have to wait in line forever to get a table?

  5. If it's just you and your sister, get in the single rider line. You will more than likely be able to ride at the same time (just not right next to each other). It will save you a TON of time, and you will get to more rides. Sept. should be a great time to go, but that is Labor Day weekend, so it might be more crowded than usual. Also if you have an American Express card, bring it. They give you a discount on food and merchandise. The Butter Beer is delicious served warm if you happen to get lucky with a cooler day in Sept.
