When is the Tri-Rail Great:
POM/PE to PBI (Transfers Aren't Cheap)
MIA/PE
Family Drop-Off
When is it not:
everything else

Puerta Maya.

I am hoping someone can tell me the route from POM to Port Everglades using the trirail.
Take a cab or a shuttle. Not worth the trouble IMO at all as you have to take a cab to tri-rail and a cab from tri-rail to port everglades. We only take tri-rail if we are staying with family and we need to get to FLL or PBI.

You would board at the Deerfield, Cypress Creek, or Pompano. Pompano station - which ever is closest to you and go SOUTH to the Ft. lauderdale AIRPORT station. (Station order north to south is Deerfield, then going south Pompano, then Crpress Creek, then Ft. Lauderdale/Broward Blvd station.). The Ft L AIRPORT station is just AFTER the Ft L/broward Blvd station). Trains run every hour. The taxi fare from the station to the port is between $15-$20 depending on the route the taxi driver takes.
Wrong stations. R u talking about Palm Beach?

I need this!! I had two every morning with two pain au chocolat and a bunch of fruit. I ate breakfast twice on the Eurodam because I enjoyed it so much..when they opened and before they closed.

I switched from the Conquest to the Breeze like the end of 15' with a TA and she never mentioned anything about a fee. Not sure if she swallowed it or not. Definitely Early Saver rates however.. But I don't see any reason why the TA should give you compensation for changing. You accepted the terms. However, with a PVP, they might do something different.

I don't drink tea...I was more thinking of the lemonade.
It's not fresh-squeezed, but it will do.

Yes and "juices" are free in the morning as well.

We like Royal's Ships more (more wow factor) and they are very pretty ships, but the food is :o... We didn't care for it at all and the buffet really lacks. I like how Carnival has more variety in the buffet like Blue Iguana, Guy's, Mongolian, Tandoor, etc.. Royal is just like a mix of everything and really didn't care for it. Carnival's Pizza is 100x better. MDR was disappointing as well. We ate at the Lido more than the MDR on Royal, which isn't something we did on Carnival. That's just my opinion and I wouldn't pick Carnival over Royal over it, just a negative for me. The previous poster said RCL had better food, so see, we all have different opinions.
The things we like about Royal is that there is more areas to relax and unwind on the ship than Carnival, like the Solarium and just on experience, I felt like there were just more quiet places on Royal than on Carnival, even on shorter sailings. It's a little less party atmosphere than Carnival, but there's still plenty of it on the pool deck.
We cruised Royal three times in a row actually as it was always cheaper than Carnival when we searched around. I always thought it would be the opposite.
I would definitely try out Royal to see if you like it, but we really don't have a line preference at all and just cruise if it's a good deal.

But your cruise isn't cancelled... So what's the point in calling? Our cruise is in two weeks, but we are still doing it. Bought insurance just in case.
-
You should not have any noise issues as long as there are cabins above you.
-
They are both the same ship. Agree with the previous poster. Itineary is the ticket for me.
-
Take the lower rate. Why would you take the OBC?? :loudcry::confused:
-
we were told by travelers on westerdam earlier this year that they still had an all inclusive package....... has Westerdam changed back to a more expensive by the minute plan like other ships with HAL??
Yes. Trial-Run ended.

We will be on the CCL Legend leaving from Seattle, returning to Vancouver. I can't tell which route it was take in the lower sailing area. Anyone know what the norm is? From Seattle, does it take the "outer" passage west of Vancouver and Graham Islands? Or the inside? Returning, which route? I'm assuming on the east side of Vancouver Island.
Seattle - West, Vancouver, East.

By the way, did you notice the Sunshine does the same 5 day you were looking at but out of Canaveral?
Double the price. Not worth it to me IMO.
-
Early Saver is only a $50 fee. I'm sure your TA can calculate which way would better for you.
-
Must have changed as I see it on Carnival but not on my TA's site. I would go with the Liberty. Grand Turk has a pretty beach, but both ports are very manufactured. At least in Nassau you can walk around and shop, but in Grand Turk and Amber Cove, it's all "cruise-centre" tenants that charge high prices. Now, this is just like Princess Cays, but still, I much rather take a balcony and a bigger ship than be stuck in a port hole on the Fantasy Class. Enjoy.

The longest you can get in Alaska is worth every penny. We didn't want to get off.
-
Can't find an itineary on the Sensation doing that route in Feb 2019. The only ones I see go to Nassau, Half Moon Cay, and Grand Turk.

We have done it, but not for a cruise. We drove down last minute in a rental car from Budget to Miami for a surprise family visit as the airfare was high since we were booking within 5 days. It was $50 for a Chevy Malibu and it was a great car. We picked it up at 6 PM the day before we left and dropped it off at 5 PM the next day so we didn't have to pay for an extra day. We flew back home.
You can definitely do it, just compare and use discount codes! Minivans/etc will be higher though and extremely high during peak travel days.

Nope. Alaska was the one exception where we booked a third-party private whale watching tour in Juneau with Harv & Marv. Best excursion ever.
But besides that, we usually plan on what to do, but we hardly do cruise-line excursions. Out of the 17 cruise ports I've stopped at, I've only bought 4, two were really I had to do it or do nothing. We woke up late by accident in Costa Maya as I forgot to set an alarm and missed a third-party excursion (lost the $15 deposit) and Costa Maya is very regulated and we had to buy one from Royal. Jamaica, I just did not feel safe going out by myself so we just bought the cruise excursion to Dune River Falls and the Prospect Estate, highly recommend.
But in general, we don't book paid excursions in advanced. We just love cruising. We enjoy walking around ports and enjoying family time, but in our planned Europe Cruise in either April/June of next year, we are definitely booking some due to time crunches.

Depending on the price, I would still take it. :D

Pick the one FWD. The upper/lower you are looking at is really an interior, but they discount it since it's next to the laundromat (pictures show two beds instead of a bunk bed config).
If there are any upper/lower portholes left, we'd take it! We enjoyed our cabin on the Breeze. There is a noise issue when going into port, but it's a free alarm clock.
The Lido deck is above the forward room and the upper/lower is on deck 7, so other cabins. It's the Conquest. You don't want to have the Lido deck above you! On my first cruise, we heard chairs scraping along the floor from 6 am until after midnight. Awful.
The cabin she is looking at is under the Lido Deck rooms. No noise issues there.

It's the furthest one away from downtown if that answers your question. I'm not sure if it's new or not. The only one I haven't been is the one in downtown.
