Sitting in Platinum/Elite lounge now in Terminal 2 waiting to board the 5 day. Yes it is much nicer. The lounge is nicely air conditioned with comfortable chairs. Check in was swift.

Oh thanks for that info. I hope you have a wonderful time on the Royal Princess.:)

Oh can anyone comment on the cruise terminal that the Royal docked at. It was supposed to have received updates, have they been completed and is the terminal nicer or more efficient?

Thanks for doing a Live From the Royal Mike, for those of us on upcoming sailings, we're all looking to hear what current passengers think about the ship! :)
-
I can't wait to see it with my own eyes! I love the new lighting around the sea witch.
-
I just want to say welcome home to all those on the Royal Princess TA and thank you for all your insight about the ship.
-
We just made final payment, very exciting. Our TA is going to be on the Royal in a couple of days so we had to pay while she was still at work and not cruising. We're looking forward to January 26th when we finally get to see what the Royal has to offer for ourselves.

I have been reading and enjoying all the opinions, points of view and details of your sailings on board the Royal Princess. Thanks to everyone who has contributed. This has been a lovely sailing with you all. :D

We were on the Crown just two weeks after you that year.

I'm looking forward to the rest of this thread!

SHOGUN I have one question for you how did you guys get to and from the life boat drill when there is no stairs in the middle of the ship. If you had to use the lifts where they jammed when going back to your state room? I will be on the ship in April so i was just wondering. Some people were complaining about the ship I take it with a gran of salt .I will make my own desions while on board have a safe trip across the pound
Roni, it has been reported here on CC many times that the crew staircase is opened up for the muster drill and thus in case of emergencies.

And torture the rest of us too! The food looks sooooooo good.

LOVED seeing the Royal leaving Venice, that is quite the sight. Thanks Dave.:)

Sailaway from Venice, nothing more beautiful. Enjoy!

I love long reviews, so I'm looking forward to your thoughts, comments and photos. :)

Glad all the new passengers are reporting in! I can't wait to see the ship with my own eyes, but your descriptions will have to do for now. :) Have a wonderful time Pam and Bob.

Wow, what a great bunch of CC members on the next Royal Princess cruise. I cannot wait to hear everyone's thoughts on her.
Great webcam shots of the Royal Dave, thanks for sharing.

Hello Pia. Just wanted to let you and everyone else arriving in Venice that it's been raining on and off since we got here. The canal near the Rialto is already starting to come over the sides with the raised platforms already up. St. Marks Square is also flooded.
Bob
That is what it was like the day before our cruise last year around this time. The embarkation day was rainy but no longer flooded. Have a great time Bob.

My current fear now about my upcoming cruise on the Royal in January is that all I will do is eat my way through the cruise and never even leave the ship.:eek: :p:p

Still LOVING this thread, thanks so couch for sharing the photos and comments!

Thanks for the updates Pia and Amelia, we are all enjoying your posts.
