  1. We have 2 CVS appointments scheduled in Orlando: 1 day before cruise, 1 morning of cruise (just in case 1st gets canceled).  Also going to try to get tested at home before we fly to Orlando (2 days before cruise).  Still thinking about ordering the at home kits, just to be safe.

  2. Can anyone share your experience getting tested in Orlando pre-cruise?  We have 2 CVS appointments scheduled, 1 day before cruise, 1 morning of (just in case 1st gets cancelled).  Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

  3. Service - excellent throughout ship, especially in MDR and Casino Bar.  Didn’t see our Stateroom attendant much, but didn’t need to.  Room was always clean when we needed it to be.

Food - MDR, very good.  Windjammer, ok.  Solarium (breakfast and lunch), ok.  Park Cafe, very good.  Promenade Cafe, ok.  Sorrento, good with exception of final night.

Ship - First time on this class and wasn’t sure I’d like it.  I did enjoy it and would cruise this class again.  I didn’t get much use of the many activities available, as we

spent most time by the pool and in the Casino, but there is a lot to do for cruisers of all ages.

Fellow Cruisers - most were great and very friendly.  However, I observed too many people treating staff horribly for no reason.  Many people were downright rude with no manners at all.  I’m sure those rude passengers don’t read CC, so the message will be lost, but just because the crew is there to serve us doesn’t mean we should treat them as our personal servants/slaves. These are real people who bust their a** to provide for their families.  They least we can all do is treat them with decency and respect.

Embarkation/Disembarkation - horrible on both days.  From what I’ve read, this is unusual, but definitely gives me pause when thinking of booking another Mega ship from PC.

  4. Booked on Black Friday 2017 for Dec 2 '18 Oasis 7 night OV Balcony. For the 2 of us, net cost (fare + tax/fees - OBC) is $1255 total. I was extremely happy to book for less than $100 pp/night. This will be the 3rd straight cruise we've taken in late Nov/early Dec. The timing works great for us and demand seems to be lighter, making it a good bargain for us.

  5. Thank you for the offer. I would love to see pics of pool deck loungers (not upright chairs) that are located in shade (not in solarium). From what I have gathered so far, there are some near the 2 hot tubs near main pool, but interested in location of others. Will be on Oasis first time in Dec and looking forward to relaxing by pools most days, but not in sun. Thanks for your help! Have a great cruise.

  6. We visited NC Dec '16 and loved it. Booked direct via NC website. Was recommendation from bartender in Miami the morning we boarded and will definitely return. Very affordable, great service and very very relaxing. Highly recommended!

  7. How would you rate the quantity of pool lounge chairs available in shaded areas on pool deck? This is something I haven't been able to get a good sense of through pictures. I know the weather didn't cooperate for you so may not have been a lot of demand. I love to lay by the pool all day everyday, but need to be in shaded spot.
