  1. I could’ve saved you some time. Just smell your ranch dressing. If smells funky…and it isn’t expired…smell your ketchup and jalapeños. If your ketchup and jalapeños smell the same as your ranch, COVID positive. If they don’t, COVID negative…but throw throw that funky ranch away!
  2. Sorry. They move you so fast in the port you don’t have time to say “hold on I need to get a picture of that.” I did explain it better than that though “I am taking this from the platinum line. The red roped off line on the left which is much smaller, is thediamond line.” The red rope line only went along that wall. Straight to the check in agents. That was diamond and special assistance. The black roped line is everything else in that room which is platinum. The other side of that wall straight ahead. Is just like the room I’m in except that line is all one line. It’s all on time blue-gold cards. Then there was another room that was more of a waiting room. it wasn’t even a line yet. That’s where they sent all of the non-platinum/diamond early arrivals.
  3. Only if you’re an early arrival and don’t get to jump the line like you do at other ports. It worked fine for me. If they had a problem it was not enough of their security machines up and running that day.
  4. This is what the situation was in December for vista. I am taking this from the platinum line. The red roped off line on the left which is much smaller, is the diamond line. The other side of the wall straight ahead is another side just like this one but it’s all one line. That’s the regular on-time line. Then on the other side of that was another room where they sent early arrivals. I can’t say if it’s changed since then.
  5. In December On Vista there were two lines. Early arrival and on-time arrival. The on-time line split off into four different entrances with different lines sizes. regular, platinum, diamond, and special assistance.
  6. They say that but it’s kind of nonsense right? I’ve been in one of the first boarding groups on every cruise since the restart. Platinum and Diamond get to pick the earlier arrival times and they get earlier boarding zones
  7. I think I could still test positive. Spicy ketchup still smells and tastes bad. Something is wrong.
  8. Yeah that’s the point I didn’t do a monitored test. My work didn’t require it. What I have is not good. I would have to test again and test positive.
  9. That would be nice since I’m less than 90 days out from Magic but it would require some work. I don’t have a positive test Carnival would accept. I just took a home test. What’s a document of recovery? A letter from a doctor? I haven’t seen a doctor. I do have a video appointment with my doctor this week. I guess I could ask her about it then. I don’t know if I want to put a positive test on my official record though.
  10. Yeah I believe that’s about a 5% sample size. 32% of the votes. If that sample were true for the entire ship I think it would be 700 people.
  11. They don’t check arrival times but they do check boarding zones so people who arrived before their boarding zone was called had to take a seat while I walked right on the ship.
  12. If @Hooked Already has COVID this may have been a targeted attack on CC members.
  13. That's almost all of us. I have to wonder how @Hooked Already is doing.
  14. Maybe someone will print some shirts “I went to Alaska and all I got was this T-Shirt…and COVID-19.
  15. Yeah it’s sounding like it’s a lot of people. Hopefully it didn’t carry over to the next cruise. Hopefully y’all come out good. I’m feeling pretty normal. Occasional cough. My biggest problem is jalapeños taste bad.
  16. One thing I forgot to post that really surprised me was how serious Alaskans are about stopping at crosswalks. Several times I’d come up to a crosswalk, see a car coming, and step back to let the car go. Every time the car stops. I’m like “what are you doing? Oh…I see you’re stopping for me. That’s super nice of you.” I have a feeling I won’t get the same treatment in New York.
  17. May want to get the kids club schedules as well. That never works well for me. Can I get a copy the kids schedule? Do you have child here? No. I just want a copy of the kids schedule. Do you have a friend who has a kid here? No. I just want a copy of the kids schedule. Never goes well...
  18. If there’s anything you want to spend them on now, you can spend them online. Cheers, internet, excursions, specialty dining, etc.
  19. I didn’t see it on the app. I think they do have one because I know I’ve seen @Jamman54 order a banana split off of it before. It may be something you have to request from a waiter.
  20. It’s the kids section of the brunch menu I attached to the below post link. Here is a screen shot of the kids part. I don’t think it’s new but it’s the first time I’ve ordered off of it. I ordered the Mac n cheese and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks came with Curley fries.
