  1. @minidonuts85 Yes we did - they told us their base is closed until October 6th but I think our week is the first week they are closed (our flight was scheduled for September 14th)
  2. Hi everyone, Well last December we booked and paid in full for a helicopter tour while we are in Bora Bora that well, you guessed it, just cancelled so now we are in need of any recommendations of great tours or things to do. On our second day we do have a half day snorkel tour booked with Bora Bora H2O (thank goodness) so any other ideas are very much welcomed. Thank you so much
  3. 😂 @flygod our next SeaDream is not until 2025 but it is a 14 day with a stop in Monte Carlo for the 2025 Grand Prix .. woo hoo
  4. @oakridger - if you haven't tried the Veuve Clicquot Rose Rich give it a try - it is very different. Pour over ice in a wine glass and serve with fruit, tea, vegetables or spices (I only use pineapple, raspberries or strawberries I can't come to try red peppers or ginger etc 😂) .. very different and very good (I have only had the Rose Rich) .. https://www.veuveclicquot.com/en-us/our-champagne/rich-collection
  5. Thanks @jen.claire.389 I assume wearing stuff more than once (OK maybe more than twice 😂) is OK also
  6. @jen.claire.389 - quick question if you don't mind (and I just posted this as a separate question as well) .. as you were just onboard, I am wondering exactly what the dress is for ladies at night ... I know what the "official" description is, but is it silky maxi type dresses for dinner or something a little less "fancy" (not that these are fancy but hopefully you know what I mean 😀) We are used to SeaDream so very familiar with the type of outfits for evening when onboard but as this is our first time I'm trying not to overthink but yea, thats not happening 😂 Thank you for any help
  7. We are sailing on Wind Spirit 11 nights Tahiti in a few weeks and as this is our first time on Windstar I am wondering exactly what the dress is for ladies at night ... 8. If Wind Spirit has a departure time of 6pm from a port when would be last boarding .. 5:30pm? Trying to plan a shore excursion and want to make sure we have enough time. Thank you everyone
  9. So for all of you frequent visitors, might anyone know the approx cost of a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rose in Tahiti (I assume it is available) or would it be best to purchase a few bottles at LAX at duty free (if they have it) Thanks everyone

  11. Thank you - contacted 6 passengers and I think we are good to go
  12. Good morning - might anyone have a suggestion for a tour in Rangiroa please - looking for activities/beach/must see recommendations
  13. @Tahitianbigkahuna We will be stopping in Rangiroa - might you have an excursion you can recommend please
  14. Thank you - they just confirmed our reservation - getting excited now 🙂
  15. I know not exactly "cruise" related (well it is because it would be for prior to a cruise 😀) but as there are many repeat travelers to Tahiti, might anyone tell me if there is a dress code at restaurants (like Rudys on Moorea for example) - are shorts and t-shirt (nice one) OK for men or would it be long pants and polo (I don't think so but best to ask) Thank you for any help

  17. Thank you @jen.claire.389 - I think I will book the drift snorkel and picnic with Huahine Nautique as they do come recommended and it seems good value at $100 pp. Thanks for all of your help and hope you are OK after the ATV incident.
  18. Thank you @jen.claire.389 Hubby wants to see the blue eyed eels - are they worth seeing do you think? I found a great independent tour but they don't visit them so just wondering if they are really great or do they just look like eels as you can't actually see their eyes LOL
