is it true that you can go to the dining room on the 1st night with exactly what you wore on the ship? I plan on wearing shorts and a basic tank top on. Will that be ok?

We have never been to a port that you have to tender, and I have heard some HORROR stories of the lines to get the ticket and how long it takes. Can anyone explain to me how this process works? We are going to Grand Cayman and are the 1st ship about 8am arrival. Then there are 2 more ships coming. One at 9 and one at 10. Do I need to be up at the crack of dawn to get a ticket? Its vacation...who wants to do that? Ugh...I am stressing over this.

Can anyone tell me what time the breeze pools are open until at night? The boys want to go night swimming, and from what I can remember on previous cruises they always seemed to be closed.

How bad were the tenders at Grand Cayman? Was there a long wait in the AM/PM? We have never had to tender before and not looking forward to it

You can let them, but do you let them normally use your credit card? At that age, why would they be roaming around without you next to them?

They would NEVER be romaing with out either me or my husband next to them, however I think its nice for kids to have some responsibility. Its their money that they have been saving to use on the cruise, and why not when they want to play in the Arcade do I have to hover over them to slide my card in the machine? Let them do it with the money they saved themselves. And no...they do not use my credit card, but they do use gift cards!

So I was wondering..I do not want my kids having the full ability to charge on the ship, but I would like them to have about $20.00 a day each so that they can use it in the Arcade, and maybe the candy shop. They are 8 1/2 and 10 and will think its cool to use their own card. Is this something that can be done? There was no option when I was setting it up online.

I have received almost $500 in price drops for our upcoming trip. I think it just depends on the sailing. I swear I look 3-4 times a day. I think or 1st price drop was in December, one in Feb and my last one was just yesterday. Just keep checking everyday!

I got an email from Carnival this AM telling me that final payment is due VERY shortly. I know its crazy, but for some reason dishing out a few thousand dollars makes me so excited lol!!! :D:D:D

I do have a PVP (at Carnival) and I tried to have it reduced, but she told me I had to fill out the form.

 

 

Just got the second reservation approved a half hour after the request.

I use a PVP also. When I see a price drop I call her and POOF...Its done. No forms no nothing!

Loving your review so far! I was hoping if you could tell me if the red frog has the thirsty frog beer on tap at the pool car and inside also?

What op is referring to is that the entire port side of the lanai on deck 5 is smoking. It is possible someone could be smoking on 5 and you could smell it on a deck 8 balcony. But I'd think the chances of that are slim to none, being three stories up.

Not looking to start trouble...My family has a balcony on the Breeze port side deck 8 mid ship. We are non smokers and want to know if we will we smell the smoke? I am think better safe than sorry we should switch sides. If any recent Breeze travelers can help it would be helpful. Thanks!
