Did your cabin have an interactive TV? All cabins were supposed to be updated with TVs in its recent drydockbit a recent thread here says it still has a VCR. I’ve never - ever - used a VCR in my life and haven’t seen one in like a decade.

This is my guess too.

Like, she had a heart attack/stroke/whatever, fell off a platform, pulled from the water alive but died unfortunately afterward.  

Hope the crew crew use the counseling provided. Very sad accident. 

Calling shenanigans on this. HAL would have to notify US authorities and it’d make immediate news. The Cook Island news and death registrar would have to list it and there is nada too.

KK this font is impossible to read imo. 

Anthem is scheduled to dock in the height of the wind tomorrow morning, very curious how they handle this situation. 

My parents are aalso on this cruise. A heads up - big nor’easter is coming up the coast so Friday and Saturday will be very wet and very windy. 

A database update should fix that parsing issue. 

The font isn’t too light but rather too thin. It’s a poor choice for a forum-based font.  

It can depend on port schedules. A private company does HAL’s (and many other lines) Christmas decorations.

Could it be port charges that you either missed or it was changed?

Port taxes were my guess but 21 months post sailing seems way too long for it to be the case.

I had a random credit from HAL about a year ago. Turns out they credited back part of a partial payment for a cruise. No one could explain why, but the amount I owed increased by the amount of the credit.

HAL has none of my money - a FCD is holding a cruise where payment isn’t due until February.

Future Cruise Deposit refunded and converted from a different currency?

Nope, my FCD is already taken for our upcoming May Volendam trip!

If I won the lottery I’ll be sad it’s missing a few delights I always dreamed about. :)

Today I was reviewing my credit card charges and noticed two $86 refunds from HAL in mid-September. That amount to me seems like port fees but our last HAL cruise was a S Caribbean trip on the Koningsdam in December 2016, so a ways back.

Anyone else get a refund?

Sel de Mar is going to be about double the size on NS, so I believe they structurally can minimize noise bleed here. Billboard isn’t as loud as BB Kings imo by a long shot.

I imagine she will get a fresh coat of exterior paint before launch? Looks like the undercoat (white) is showing in several places along the side of the ship in the video.

Most definitely, she will. Heck HAL paints or touches up the hull every other month iirc on every ship. Rust forms FAST.
