This makes absolutely no sense and I would agree you are being penalized. Let’s do the math (Based on my Harmony sailing next month using the Royal app). The combo (1 small, 2 large, 1 dessert) is $39.99. If you ordered this a la cart it would be about $44 (average small $9 + $15 rolls x 2 + $5 dessert) so it appears there is a slight discount for the bundle. BUT if the rolls are half the size then it’s actually only $29 ($9 + $7.50 x 2 + $5). So buying the combo actually costs you more! And I don’t understand why with the UDP you can go to Chops or 150 Central Park and $65 value is included but at Izumi they give you a smaller portion worth $29? i do appreciate the tip to swap a small plate for dessert though.

It’s been many years but when we used to sail with someone who was gluten free the favorite was the pancakes in MDR at breakfast. They use Krusteaz. Not sure if that is still the case though. Cafe promenade usually had peanut butter cookies. As mentioned above, she was able to preorder dinner for the following night. They do this because some meals not marked as gluten free can be modified with the advance notice. They always had gluten free bread immediately when seated (one of the benefits of having the same server every night). Windjammer seems to have more gluten free options than previously but don’t know about quality.

We’re sailing on Oasis in 2 weeks and just received our welcome letter from the suite concierges. This is what it says about drinks-only coffee and tea outside of happy hour. I was really looking forward to bottled water and sodas during the day. This is our first cruise post Covid and even before that we most sailed Celebrity so we’ve been spoiled with their suite perks. Coffee and Tea are available in the Lounge throughout the day. Hors d'oeuvres, petit fours and complimentary wine, spirits, beer, and soft drinks are available for our Suite guests every evening from 5pm-8:00 pm.
