We are booked on Jupiter cabin 4069. Are we going to hear the lifeboats being lowered or raised? What about the view off the balcony, are the lifeboats going to interfere with the views? How did you fix the banging of the lifeboat? I might have time to change cabins if there will be a problem with any of this so anxiously awaiting your response. thanks in advance.

Well guess you are not stopping in Ketchikan so that sea plane trip is out. Sorry as it was one of the highlights of our trip. Wherever you go you will be inspired by the beautiful scenery. Alaska is absolutely gorgeous.

The Misty Fjord seaplane trip was excellent. Loved it. We went with SeaWind Aviation (my son is a pilot and he chose this one for me) said the Beaver plane was safe and that Steve the pilot had tons of experience so he felt safest for me to go with that one. We landed on a lake and saw bears, flew around mountain tops and saw the mountain goats till some other passengers felt ill. lol.

Yes it will fit under the bed no problem. I don't carry one that large but my sister does and she stores it under the bed.

I would be fine with Viking discontinuing testing when: A. There is a vaccine that covers all the omnicron variants. (understand that Moderna is coming out with one in the fall that is specific to those variants and protects for a year....YES. or B. There are no new variants and and the rate of infection is less than 10% and all passengers are vaccinated and boosted or have the new vaccine. Until that time, I am more than happy to spit in a tube daily. I have taken two VC since covid (Aug 21 and Jan 22) and have the Norway/Iceland cruise booked for July 23. Wish it was sooner. I still intend to wear a mask when flying but feel safe on the ships with the testing of everyone daily for now.
