My favourite would be Danny Shamess. I think he's now based in Australia so I hope to see him on some Australian itineraries (should they ever start sailing again).

I would imagine that they will not show any movie that deals with a pandemic. For the same reason airplanes do not show airplane disaster movies. They are not about to show the movie Titanic for the same reason.
I watched the Denzel Washington movie Flight on a plane. Complete with plane being upside down.

I've only cruised Princess interiors. I'd honestly be fine for a few weeks. The beds are so comfy, I could catch up on sleep. Internet and the tv to keep me entertained, moves that I haven't had time to watch over the last year or so. The food they had delivered seemed adequate to me.

My parents recently returned from NZ and they used shoretripsandtours.com for all of there day tours. They enjoyed them all and found them very reasonably priced.

We always use the Great Southern, have done since before the current owners who changed the name, can't remember what it was. That was back in the days of $80.00 a night, then along came the booking parasites that demand a high percentage and the price jumped to $130.00, and that price was 6 years ago. haven't needed to stay since then.
I just booked two nights for $212 total. Cheap enough for me.

The ability to buy the 6 cans once on board must depend on which region you are sailing (as with a lot of things on Princess). I've never been able to purchase on Aussie cruises.
You can carry on as much pop (and any other factory sealed non alcoholic beverage) as you like at any port.

On the Princess site you hit the "destinations" tab. Then under "plan & book" you see ports of call, hit that. Select a destination, then select a port of call. Hit "view details". You can then click to view cruises from chosen destination.
It's long winded but it gets you the info you want.

You can't get the soda offer once you board. Coffee you definitely can.

I recommend the Great Southern, especially now that the tram is running down to Circular Quay. I'm a solo traveller and I've never felt unsafe, even late at night in this area.

This could have been a review of my Tassie trip on the Majestic. I went on her when she first came down to Australia for cruises. They hadn't really made any effort at that stage to make it more appealing to the Aussie market. The layout is awful, the staff were downright miserable. Nearly impossible to get a drink anywhere. Food choices were lacking, desserts in buffet consisted of 6 cakes with different coloured creams but all of the same, almost tasteless "flavour". The party band played once, daily entertainment was mostly seminars and opportunities to by stuff. This ship has all the bells and whistles but lacks everything that to me makes a Princess cruise/ship. I love Princess and have only ever cruised with them but you couldn't pay me to get back on the Majestic.

No, the cut off was last year. You've missed out.

I print an A4 sign to leave at the table in the buffet.
"Be right back, getting food. Feel free to join me but please do not move me. Thanks!"
So far it has worked a treat.

The problem with the "long" adaptors is that the power points are so low to the desks that these often don't fit.
I would be almost certain that you wont be able to get this in the power point.

They will pretty much make you anything minus the alcohol. Just ask nicely.

I have just logged in to my Personalizer and there is no mention of just the coffee card. It seems to be linked to the beverage package. I just want to enjoy the coffee, not the alcohol part as I think the package is way too expensive. I'd rather pay as you go with the alcoholic drinks. I do hope they haven't taken this option off the table.
Some Aussie cruises don't have it in the personaliser, it is definitely available once on the ship.

I wonder if the people who have recently listed coffee cards on eBay realize they're no longer accepted on ships. I see one sold less than a week ago with 11 punches left for $8.50. Another sold for $15 with just 10 punches left.
The people that are listing them... most probably. The purchaser... I highly doubt it.

So people who have been enjoying the benefits of being elite are upset now that us plebs are joining them, making them feel less special? You get extras the more you cruise, extra OBC, invites to most traveled passengers etc.

I did this years cruise too. We certainly had some rough seas and more snow than you could poke a stick at but it was great fun. Luckily those lights showed up for us on that one night but if that's the sole purpose of taking the cruise, don't do it. I mostly did private excursions as the offerings from Princess were pretty ho hum.

I'm just sad that I won't have tubes of lotion to bring home. I use that stuff everywhere, one in the car, one in my room, one at work, mum has a couple. I'm going to have to buy hand cream which will cut into my cruising funds.

The lady who owns the dog in question in the original post had this to say on the Princess official page today
" Just giving you a heads up my Review is on it’s way. You won’t like it you won’t be happy, and the actions on the Ship have cost Princess not only 6 more cruises from me but also a Stock Dump. Yes I will be publishing Publicly Thanks. "
Looks like no one (traveling on Princess at least) needs to worry about the dog anymore.

On the Sapphire they have just swapped from diet coke to coke light (in the cans). Not sure if this is going to be a fleet wide change (I hope not as coke light is horrible).

When I was at Port Arthur in November last year there were shuttle buses from the visitor centre that were doing continuous loops with about 3 stops, a chocolate factory, lavender farm? and somewhere else for approx $15. I didn't use it as I'd book the Isle of the dead and ran out of time but it might be an option for the rest of your day.

Platinum is "from" 6, so yes, you are now platinum for your next cruise.
Majestic Princess - Nightclub?

When I was on her the "nightclub" was in the Hollywood conservatory (the enclosed swimming pool area). However, if people were slow to show up at the designated time they were quick to pull the plug on the music.
