I filled out our on line check in for our December 3rd cruise. When I printed out the Setsail Pass it also included our muster station on it. The muster station is B02. Does anybody where this muster station is located on the ship.
I believe it is in the theatre on deck 4.

Sometimes you can find information on this site: http://themecruisefinder.com/index.html
I just looked and found a group that will be on my upcoming Brilliance cruise.

Well that's it right there. A little disappointed, especially since we've got those 9 b2b sea days on the crossing, but certainly not the end of the world.
Had a further response from Vicki and thought I would let you know. I have asked for clarification on who is included under 'Top Suite Guests' ie, Grand Suite and above or only star class.

Stay positive, I am really hoping she is wrong, as is the brochure. You know how sometimes things don't filter through to the ships as they are meant to, I hope this is one of them! ;)

This is literally the message I had from Vicki and I sent a further comment she hasn't responded to.

Could you please share the email address you used?Yes! I would like to have it, as well. Thank you!
I emailed mbayley@rccl.com (knowing it would be passed to a member of his team to look at) and I also completed the feedback form on http://www.casexecutivecomments.com as I also had some comments about C&A as well, so put it all in one.

Thanks for this tidbit of information. We normally cruise in suites, and many nights enjoy dining in. This is a perk that costs the company nothing really, but it is hard to believe that they will be taking it away.
I'll be on the Presidents cruise in a few weeks, and look forward to having this information confirmed. Did Vicki Freed say that it would be replaced by anything?
Rick
PS Has anyone figured out what set ducklite off after being away from Royal Caribbean for 11 years, and just now bringing up such a non relevent topic of interest in the year 2016?
I am in exactly the same 'boat'. It's one of the few perks I use but I utilise it daily. I agree, it doesn't really cost anything to them.
I'd be interested to know too, I hope Vicki and the brochure are wrong. I'll be on a non Royal Suite Class ship in 5 weeks and will be interested to see if everything runs as expected.
No, she offered no further information but I expressed concern at the possibility of eliminating this perk across the fleet and have also emailed my comments to RCI.

Why don't we answer the OP and let The Other Person languish.
GS and above
Concierge lounge nightly for drinks and snacks from 5-8:30
DVD player and free movies and games
Ability to order from MDR menus to be served in your cabin.
Bath tub and shower separate.
Lots of room.
Special seating for shows and on some ships at pool
These are the ones that we like the most!!!!

Just a heads up on in room dining from MDR, this has been discontinued on ships with Royal Suite Class, I have had it confirmed by Vicki Freed (SVP, Sales, Trade Support and Service) in the last couple of days. She says it isn't available at all but according to the updated information in the online Royal Suite Class brochure, it should still be available in Star Class cabins - I guess the Genie can sort that. Apparently, for now, it will still be available on non Royal Suite Class ships.

Received an email from the concierge on Brilliance - Mihaela Toana. Not sure when they started or will finish but that seems to be the current concierge. Hope this helps.

Yes, there are definitely Freestyle machines on Harmony.

Hi
I know suites can be a somewhat touchy subject on these boards but I am really hoping that someone might have some current information.
When cruising, I frequently enjoy having dinner in my suite from the main dining room menu. I have some mobility issues and some evenings, being in the main dining room is just too much, but I like to have a proper meal.
I noticed that in room dining from the MDR seems to have been removed from the updated Royal Suite Class amenities list for Sky Class, where it was previously listed as available. It is still listed on the 'Enhanced Program for Suite Guests' page on RCI's site for non Royal Suite Class ships.
Does anyone have any recent experience of this being no longer available, either on Royal Suite Class ships or non Royal Suite Class ships?
I have asked RCI about this directly but they are unable to give me a straight answer and was hoping someone who has recent knowledge might be able to give a clearer picture of how things are.
Thanks :)

How did you like the layout with the wall splitting the cabin?
Honestly? I didn't like it at all. The room felt cramped, nothing like GS's feel on other ship. The lounge side was completely impractical and we ended up moving the coffee table out of the way, blocking one of the entrances to the bedroom as we were fed up of having to walk sideways to get past. The bedroom side meant the end of the beds were very close to the wall.
Don't get me wrong, it is still a nice room, just far less spacious and practical to other class ships in the fleet (I've not been on Quantum class in a GS but think the layout is the same as this is, so the same would apply)

You are not correct. From another user... Here are 100's of photos of the Harmony including the Suite Lounge and the Sun Deck.
http://www.cruisecritic.com/photos/ships/harmony-of-the-seas-983/
Actually, you are not correct. When that post was originally made on 29th May, the suite sun deck was not open. It opened during the cruise to Barcelona but until that stage it was inaccessible.
So, obviously there are pictures now!

Hi,
It does make it more efficient for everyone if you do upload your photo, even if it did take an extra 10 seconds to take a photo it would take an extra 14 hours of man time to do one for every passenger. I know that this is very unlikely to happen but it is very easy to upload a photo a little tip I have found is to make sure the photo you take is landscape instead of portrait as somehow it turns it by 90 degrees in portrait.
Pete
Perhaps my 10 seconds was a wild exaggeration, it's more like 2...

The point I was making is not to stress about it. The person who commented said they didn't know how and were even wishing they had booked with another line because of it.
It's amazing, all the other ships in the fleet cope and ships coped before this was introduced and don't take 14 hours to check everyone in!! Perhaps my 10 seconds was a wild exaggeration, it's more like 2.

Being a computer numptie how on earth can I upload photographs for checking in?
Do I have to get passport photographs done and somehow get these onto my computer?
Not sailed with RC before but if I knew about this photo thing before I booked I would have gone with someone else.
If you don't have a photo to upload it doesn't matter, they will simply take your photo at the port when you check in. It saves probably 10 seconds at the port by uploading it beforehand.
It really isn't a huge drama.

The issue about 6 months of validity has nothing to do with Royal Caribbean rules. The countries visited may have that requirement and then the cruise line would need to enforce it.
As others have already stated, closed loop from the US and you are American or Canadian, all you need is a valid passport. As long as its valid for the length of your travel, you are fine. But if you are going on a European or Asia cruise, then you should have 6 months left on your passport. Countries that require visas, are more likely to require a passport valid for six months.
That's why I said what they recommend, not that it is their rule.
-
Thanks for the info! I am going to renew my passport just to be safe. Now, I just have to decide if I should do expedited service or not. Our cruise is just over 8 weeks away and current estimate is 6 weeks for passport issue. Not sure I want to cut it that close.
That's a really sensible decision. I certainly wouldn't risk my holiday for the sake of a new passport and going on the say so of people on a forum!
I've had RCI question me when I had 5 months left, so it isn't worth the risk to me.

According to this, they 'strongly recommends' that you have at least 6 months remaining beyond the end of the cruise.
Whilst this is not a direct instruction as such, it might be worthwhile to take notice of their recommendation.

Yup, still going. Received mine on Harmony 12 days ago :D

I am not a smoking supporter. I have never and will never smoke. However, it is entirely different when portrayed as part of a story. If you were against things being portrayed in fiction, heck even non-fiction, then nobody would ever go anywhere, do anything or see anything!

Stayed in 9260 and 7254 on Allure and now 8254 and 8250 on Harmony. Honestly love the deck 8 location. Easy into Central Park and not far to the Boardwalk and Promenade.
