  1. We are booked on a Reflection cruise 02/17. We were sent an e-mail about 3 discounted excursions, to be booked now, paid for now. The excursion for Puerto Rico was to get a drink, and walk around for 90 minutes. There was an age limit of 18 and 67. I understand the 18 limit, but why the under 67? Any body have any ideas? I'm rather miffed at this! Seems too odd!

  2. We just got off the Silhouette 6-7-16, and our CC lunch was Dover sole, and lamb. Two choices, that's it. I was bitterly disappointed, and we got up and left after telling the waiter we were unhappy with the choices. We also never got the embossed card holder or the special tote, they were not delivered to the ship in Amsterdam. CC was pretty worthless on our cruise, and I would never pay more than $50 for an upgrade. The 5 points per day are the only reliable benefit, everything else is dependent on the particular sailing you are on. YMMV.

  3. Please go! I'm sure you will have a great time. It will not be the same, but 2 weeks is a good start on healing. I remember sitting on my balcony outside of Ketchikan, and watching the float planes land and take off. It was very relaxing and enjoyable, and probably not anything you could do at home. I hope your weather is good, as it will be harder to get around in the rain. Go!

  4. That is absolutely horrible. I know of a person who told his group of travelers they could have their tips removed. I was not aware people could do this and then to learn people actually do this is appalling.

Somewhere on cruise critic, I read about a guy who stiffed someone in the casino after winning big money and also had grats removed....something like that. Anyway, his bags went missing on disembarkation day. Karma has it's way sometimes.

Now that is funny!! You are so right!
