  1. We just got off the Coral last week and in a suite. I was very disappointed in Club Class Dining. After 15 nights the staff still doen't know who we are and that we were in Club Class. Service was poor. Some nights the headwaiter would make something, but it was not any different then what was on the menu. 5 nights it was Caesar Salad. Some nights he made nothing. The only difference between MDR and Club Class was the color of the table cloths and the napkins had CC on them. I would not recommend Club Class.

  2. I was on the Coral Princess last week and had Club Class Dining. I was very disappointed in it. The only difference from MDR was the color of the table cloth and the napkins had CC on them. The service was poor. There was not anything actually different than what is on the menu. A couple of nights the headwaiter made a menu item, several other nights a Caesar salad , others nothing special. I had Club Class earlier on the Grand Princess and it was nice. The service was excellent and the headwaiter made something very special every night. After this experience I won't book Club Class again.

  3. I have a Samsonite bag that a zipper was broken on two separate occasions. The zippers were ok when dropping off at the cruise terminal, but broken when arriving at room. Manufacture has 10 year guarantee and repaired them at no cost. Repairs took less than 1 week.

  4. The breakfast menu in CC dining room is the same as MDR and the same crew works all three meals. the On the Grand last February the head waiter would make omelets to order plus. My wife would order an omelet full of vegetables, head waiter called it minestrone omelet. Coffee is the same as MDR. One day the hostess, using our coffee card, went down to the IC and got us specialty coffee. I think the service is better than in the specialty dining rooms. It was open for breakfast on disembarkation day

  5. Cruised on a B2B during hurricane Sandy. The first segment was to be 4 days NY to Bermuda and back to NY. We sailed out of NY to Boston. In Boston had 70 mile an hour winds. Three tug boats were pushing the ship against the dock during the storm. The rain was horizontal and the ship was still. Stayed in Boston 4 days waiting for NY port to open. Our 10 day NY, Caribbean, to Ft. Lauderdale was cut by 2 days. Missed 2 ports. Princess gave us future cruise credit for 1/2 cruse fare paid. I was an experience.

  6. I need to cancel a cruise I have booked for next April. Today I faxed my TA the cancellation form and they emailed me back that $200 of the deposit was non-refundable. I booked the cruise back in May 2016 and it was NOT a non-refundable deposit.

After almost an hour on the phone with them (mostly on hold) they told me that when my reservation was re-priced in May 2017 for a price drop (which I initiated by calling them), it was turned into a non-refundable deposit at that point. They got that information by calling Princess today while I was on hold.

But I was never told that during the call to process the price drop and there was no mention of it in the updated invoice they sent me that day. At the end of today's call they referred it to a supervisor who would investigate it by "pulling the call" and get back to me in a day or two. I guess they are trying to see if I was told this information or not.

But I really think I would have remembered that if they told me and more importantly, doesn't that need to be in writing to me? Do you think I have any recourse since the updated reservation invoice they sent me makes no mention of $200 being non-refundable?

When you found the price drop, was there any mention of non-refundable in the write-up? When you re- booked you also agreed to all the conditions of the new booking. Since you initiated the re-booking it was assumed you read all the fine print. Your TA should of caught it and informed you. Sometimes a deal isn't as great as it first appears.
