Also, we send one bag using LF and check one bag on the airplane. We pack half of essentials in each bag for safety. Of course REAL essentials go in carry-ons.

Does Viking have an arrangement with any company that ships luggage from your home to the pier where it is then brought straight to your cabin? For example, Regent works with "Luggage Forward." Does anyone have experience on Viking using any company? Thanks.

It is easy to obtain lots of dollar bills before we leave the US. It has always been very hard to get small change, e.g. 2 pound coins, when we convert to Euros. Anyone have a good way to do this for those of us living in the US?

Not sure which of several possibilities this tour represents compared to our cruise. If your cruise goes up the Geiranger fjord, be sure to be on the ship and not on the shore for the cruise outbound from the town back through the fjord. This will be in the daylight hours (middle day--I mean daylight as opposed to middle of the night-daylight on the way in.). The views from the ship and the narrative are not to be missed.

Some of the reports from aboard make it sound as if the ships are still not booked to capacity. Can anyone comment on this or estimate the percentage of capacity. If this is the case, seems like this would be more likely a result of staffing issues rather than social distancing requirements. Thanks.
