Funny you should mention that. On my many sailings on the Norway I used to make a bed out of the chaise lounge on the balcony and spent many wonderful nights sleeping out there. Never slept better in my life.

Thanks for posting this. So does this mean that we are going back to Puerto Rico now instead of the Bahamas? It seems like there is a change in our itinerary almost every day. I can't imagine how the cruise lines are handling all of this.
-
I like the bed by the balcony for all the reason previously mentioned. Plus I love being closer to the wonderful sound of the water while falling asleep and the beautiful sunshine when waking up in Paradise (Caribbean).
-
I responded as soon as I read our new itinerary. What does that mean "expired"?
-
Where is Punta Cana? I haven't heard of it before.
-
Anywhere in the Caribbean is fine with me. I don't like the western cruises at all.
-
We are booked on the Equinox for Oct. 16. As my husband once said on the Norway, "It can just go out in the ocean and 'park' for 2 weeks and I'll be happy." It will still be warm and sunny (unlike Ohio!) wherever they send us.

I've been wondering how Maria will affect the "new" itineraries. My heart just aches for those poor islanders.
-
Has anyone tried the vegetarian entrees? Not really thrilled at all with them. I may have to fill up on starters. How I miss the vegetarian menu we had last year on the Eclipse - which we were told this May they no longer have. :')
-
Is it true there is no longer a separate vegetarian menu? We had one last year on Equinox and it had a good variety of choices.
-
I can't help wondering if Celebrity is rethinking their plan of having Equinox in the Caribbean for the summer (hurricane) months. They didn't pick a very good year to start it.
-
We will be on the Equinox next month. What is your itinerary?
-
We can't imagine staying anywhere but in an Aqua cabin. Have never had to wait at Blu and love the great service. If there is something on the MDR menu we would like, our server has always gotten it for us. The Persian Gardens are a dream and we have never had to wait for one of those wonderful warm lounges either.

I drink more water than any other beverage onboard. So am loving this!

I am worried about our Equinox cruise the middle of October.
-
In well over 20 cruises I don't ever remember missing a port. Guess we've been very lucky so far. Am wondering what will happen on our cruise next month on Equinox.
-
We were supposed to visit St. Maarten and Tortola next month and are wondering where Celebrity will send us now. We LOVE St. Maarten and are grieving for the island and all it's inhabitants - both human and animal.
-
We left Florida in 2007 after living there 26 years. The last hurricane we had there (Melbourne Beach) was in 2005. This is truly horrible for those poor people there. Hurricane evacuations were the ONLY thing I didn't like about living in Florida.
-
We are sailing on Equinox the middle of next month. Were looking so forward to Tortola and St. Maarten. My heart goes out to those poor island people.
-
Has anyone heard anything about damage in Tortola? We are supposed to cruise there next month. Also St. Maarten.
-
So after reading this thread, I'm wondering if there are any reasons to stay booked through Celebrity instead of getting a TA.
-
How we wish Blu (our favorite place to eat!) was open for lunch. Anyone know why it isn't?
-
We loved eating at Aqua Spa cafe and are looking forward to it again next month. Celebrity has already ruined Bistro on 5 for us. Please don't make changes in Aqua Spa!
-
This is really frightening! Hurricane evacuations were the ONLY thing I didn't like about living in Florida for 26 years. Other than that, I miss it terribly. Am in Ohio now. Ugh!
St. Maarten recovering pretty fast

I hope this is indeed true. We love St. Maarten!
