We finally decided on the Sonesta hotel. It looks gorgeous and is right on the beach. Lots of amenities and I found lots of

Is this the Sonesta hotel in Fort Lauderdale? We are considering it and looking for reviews from people who have stayed there.

We really appreciate all the answers. Has anyone stayed at the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale hotel? It looks really good. How about the Hilton Fort Lauderdale? Our heads are spinning looking at all the choices.

My daughter and I will be cruising next March on Celebrity from F.L. and we will be there the day before the cruise. I would so appreciate hearing from any one who has stayed in a F.L. hotel that is near the ocean or restaurants or anything else of interest. This has probably already been addressed but I wasn't able to find a thread on this subject. Thank you so much if you can answer.

Would the onboard booking people know which cruises will be offered for the fall of 2019

I know it's probably not important to anyone else, but I really miss that adorable white dog figurine at the entrance to Michael's Club when not on the Eclipse. I also like the artwork better, It doesn't seem so modern to me.

We used to cruise with NCL exclusively with very many sailings on our beloved Norway. Then a couple on the Jewel and one on the Gem. We saw the food go downhill through the years and the noise became excessive. We now sail on the S class Celebrity ships always in an Aqua cabin and love it. Blu can't be beat IMHO. And the Persian Garden is fantastic. Also love the footstools on the balcony and the wonderful shower.

We are sailing on her in March of next year. First time on her and looking forward to it.

I don't trust any artificial sweetener so I always bring a small container of Stevia powder with me.

If we give our Blu waiter an extra tip will he know he will also receive gratuities automatically taken from our onboard account?

On the Eclipse last year in Blue we had a wonderful vegetarian menu. But this year on Equinox in Blu we were told they no longer had a vegetarian menu. Our choices were very limited. Is it really true that there is no longer a vegetarian menu?

We spend night before in a hotel and get to port next day as early as possible. First stop is Aqua Spa cafe for lunch. Then leave carryons in room and explore. Our traditional sail away is on lounge chairs on deck above pools with a pina colada in hand. What bliss!! Early dinner in Blu and then more exploring. Can't believe we are finally on our cruise!

We used to love Bon5 until it turned to Sushi. Ugh! The portobello mushroom burgers were to die for. Not to mention the crepes. Sigh.

We will be on the Silly next year. It will be our 4th different S class ship and it will be great to get a preview of her. Thank you for writing it!

We love Blu not just for the food but the ambience. It is much quieter and more private than the MDR. And we can always get anything that is on the MDR menu at Blu thanks to great waiters. Counting the Persian Gardens also, I can't imagine not having an Aqua Spa cabin. I hope your choice works for you. Everyone is different after all.

We always cruise in an Aqua Spa cabin and love it. The only thing we may miss is lunch in the MDR but we prefer Aqua Spa Cafe's lunch anyway.

I bought the package last year on the Eclipse and I'm so glad. It was on sale $100 off onboard for the first 2 or 3 days. I have a beautiful album (also bought on board at a discount) full of wonderful pics. I've saved the ones not in the album and have even found uses for some of them also. It was great not having to decide which pics to buy since we got them all.

What a great thread! Supposing the genie gave me the talent, I would like to work in the Aqua Spa. The atmosphere is so peaceful there. As for worst, almost anything else.

Does anyone know if Jet Blue is one of the airlines you can get this on?
