  1. We have private tours with others on our roll call in most ports. Our cruise includes the Tattoo in Edinburgh, but it's from the Glasgow port. We're doing that one through Princess. My husband is golfing in Glasgow/Greenock and at St. Andrews while in Edinburgh. From which port are you going to Liverpool?

    We actually dock in Liverpool.

  2. Bring your own quarters, and soap if possible.

I Followed a blog that was recommended by other cruisers on here and

the blogger posted many times about having laundry, mostly T shirts, sent back with little holes in it. They use an industrial washer on the ship so that was thought to be the cause of the holes.

Thanks ! Guess I'll bring some quarters & detergent :)

  4. Very exciting !!

We are on the May 23 British Isle Cruise.

Best advice.... Get to know your fellow cruisers on Roll Call and link up with them on private tours. Princess charges ridiculous prices. Also, we purchased most of our tickets,ie, castles, HOHO buses, Beatles Experience, Titanic Experience on line. Didn't want to waste time standing in line. Also eliminates a lot of foreign currency to bring.

This cruise has been on my bucket list for years, and my husband is treating me for my 65th birthday ! I am so excited and I know you are too !! :D

  5. We booked our air through Princess. Our sail date is May 23,2014. We are paid in full. Flying from Houston to London via United Airlines. When I pull up my reservation on Uniteds website it says we are not ticketed

    Can anyone explain this ?

  6. We will be touring the British Isles on the Ruby Princess. And we'll be doing a lot of walking. So I thought a good foot massage would be a great idea !

Can anyone recommend one of the treatments ? There's more than one.

    Thanks in advance ! :)

  7. It's been a while since we sailed with Princess. Can you cash a check on Princess ? We will be on the Ruby, a British Isle cruise. Can we get pounds and euros ? We'll bring cash in both currencies, but just in case we run short it would be convenient to get some from the ship.
