  1. This question is for Ziggy - how are the handicap cabins?

Are the doorways wide enough for scooters? Is the bathroom arranged to where when you shower the whole room doesn't get wet? Is there enough room in a balcony handicapp to store a scooter without tripping over it? Do they have a ramp to and from the balcony? How high off the floor is the safe? Is there a seat in the shower and is there a handheld shower head? Is there ample outlets to recharge a scooter battery at night as well as utilizing a CPAP at the same time? Are all of the public areas accessible to someone who is scooter, power chair, or wheelchair bound?

Since you did cruise in a handicapp cabin because of Jim's mobility problems, your answers will be greatly appreciated by all of us who are or have partners with handicaps. And I will be happy to post your answers on the handicap boards.

Thank you for all the answers as they could enfluence the cruise a family might take who have a disabled member.:D:D:D

  2. The only value I see in this is for those in OS and above for the CL use. Frankly we will be in a JS on the 1st and I don't really want every passenger and bartender to see that information everytime we pull out our seapass.

At the same time, maybe I will do a mini experiement. Use the marked card the first few days and then manage to demagnitize it and get it replaced with a plain white one and see if there is a difference in service.

  3. WOW!! this is a good one. I just started reading CC a few days ago and DW who has been reading for a few months had to fill me in on some of the background here. But I must say I haven't laughed this much in 40 years. After 20 years in the Army and 19 years Civil Service I'm just happy to here there will be TP available. No need to buy me a new keyboard, the office will get me a new one and pay for it with your tax $$$$.
