Just checked NCL as we set thinking of Alaska next year

They charge $99 per person for drink plan on 7 day cruise and $12 for dining in specialty restaurants 3 nights

Still not too bad since drink plans are so pricey

I just contacted NCL

You are correct they do charge gratuities on free perks

$99 per person for drink plan for 7 day cruise

$12 pew person for dining

Still cheaper than paying full price

i am booked on Summit to Bermuda in August. We received free drink plan and $300 OBC.

Is the drink plan really free? Someone just told me on NCL you have to pay the 18 percent gratuity on the free drink plan

I just checked by booking with Celebrity and gratuities are 180.00 per person. I don't see where they charged on the drink plan

I did not know that. We are doing Celebrity to Bermuda in August and received free drink plan. I did not see that we paid 18 percent on that. Is that just NCL.

planning our 1st cruise to Alaska. Glacier Bay a must.Not sure which cruise line. Was wondering why such a difference in price for a balcony. Hal is like $1,000 cheaper. I always think you pay for what you get. Like the fact that drink package is free on Norwegian but worried about the food.

Hello alli have been looking into an Alaska cruise out of Seattle June or July 2018 with Glacier Bay. We Really like having a balcony.Between the cruise price close to $5,000 with tax etc and the airfare from NJ at least $1,000 for two, plus we would stay in Seattle 2 nights so we could at least spend a full day, this is quite a pricey trip.

My question is could we still enjoy our cruise without booking any excursions???

My husband really wants to go!!

i have been doing some Alaska cruise prices and it appears HAL has the lowest prices. Is this a sale? I always thought HAL would be higher.Looking at June of 2018 RT from Seattle including Glacier Bay

Our friends used the hoho bus in December. They arrived after 2 pm and were boarding a ship the following morning. They said it was good if you are short on time

Just tell your driver the time you dock. They have experience in knowing what time to pick you up!! Enjoy. I just had a lovely 3 days there in December

Just want to say this was one of my favorite memories of my trip to Rome. Every Sunday at noon in the Vatican square. Got there around 10:30 and had a perfect spot. There was some entertainment by the staff prior to the blessing. It was truly amazing to be blessed by the Pope!!! Would highly recommend it

What is the most economical way to get to beaches, Hamilton etc. it appears a taxi to Horseshoe is around $40? We are a group of 6 adults
