We are on Symphony next week. Booked on board at a good price, then RCI had a deal on with free drinks package and second person 50% off. I rang RCI and got changed to the new price for an extra £9 ea for the week so cheap drinks package. I thought they would tell me to get lost but they changed it with no issue.
In the U.K. we don’t get charged gratuity on the drinks package if you get it for free our laws are different.
I didn’t know if you booked on board and the price went down they would honour it.

There is an Ikea across the road. If you stand with the sea and ship behind you, you can see the Carnival offices there is a convenience store there can’t remember if it is the Co Op you can get water there.

Symphony would be my vote.
Don’t do the tours with the cruise line they are ridiculously expensive.

With the current exchange rate the pound is weak against the dollar so not worth it in my opinion.
I did book on board for a future cruise for two cabins, later I checked on line for the price and it had gone up £22 per cabin however that now included the premium drinks package! Called RCI and they let me pay the £22 x2 extra kept my existing booking no, cabins and OBC and have the drinks package.
Bargain!!

I did a trial booking to get my excellent price.

This has to be fishing post - or one to wind up the Brits:mad:.
Cheddar is not orange - end of.
Proper mature cheddar is slightly off-white in colour and has flavour (with a u;)). It is wonderful on its own, with Marmite in a sandwich, with tomato or proper ham or proper pickle in a sandwich, as cheese on toast with a sprinkling of paprika and in my unctious cheese straws recipe.
That rubbery, orange abomination masquerading as cheddar is only good for stopping the ship bashing the dock whilst parking. And breathe...
Marmite and cheddar sandwich, ohhh yes please!

I booked onboard for Symphony for 2018 got given some obc and prepaid tips. Then I checked the website and for £28 per cabin on the current deal against my previous price you could get the full drinks package. Rang RCI we had two cabins booked as travelling with friends we kept the same cabin and booking no ref for £56 all in extra wwe had the full drinks package for 7 days for all four of us.
Result!!
Our friends in the other cabin had called earlier and had asked and the employee said no you could only buy the drinks package on top. I called and got another answer.
We are all very happy but it seems to depend on who you speak to.

Orange cheddar is an odd American thing and tastes of nothing. Proper English cheddar has fantastic flavour, preferably with a ploughman’s, a pickled onion and a good pint!

Barcelona definitely, taxi to the port takes about 20 minutes.

Fourth time on the Epic, boarding 10 September from Barcelona. Looking forward to it :D.

We loved Wonderland and Chops and had superb meals there.
Jamie's is on land in the U.K. So didn't bother with it, Italians do not eat meatballs that's an American thing!
I thought Harmony was a great ship.
Thanks for taking your time to post your review always good to read different thoughts :D

Thanks for that.
I take about $1k with me and only play tables. Will speak with the casino host as I board on Friday!

I have never been offered anything maybe I don't gamble enough? I play blackjack every night.
Without being rude/too nosy what sort of money do you need to be gambling?

We did it on the initial 4 day when it was free, great fun and success with 2 minutes to spare!!

ABP is convenient and next to the ship. Always use them.

April the weather can be mixed it depends where you are going in Europe it is a big area! Further north is likely to be snow.

No visas needed as others have said an online esta to enter the US. You will need to take your passport with you at ports.

Scandinavia is very happy with cards, otherwise you are going to need multiple currencies.

Anyone know what happens to exiting bookings? I have a Europe cruise booked for September and had one free at sea and choose the drinks package. The price has only increased by £60 pp for the new all inclusive so well worth it.

Fantastic food including great steak and lobsters in the Haven restaurant and no upcharge. We have only done it once on the Epic and it was a wonderful experience. Diego in the inside bar will make you wonderful cocktails.

No one drinks green beer except Americans! Drink Guinness.........

Strong bow is a horrible cider and Angry Orchard is the same. We have some fantastic ciders in the U.K. Just need to get them on the international market.
For me a low calorie drink is vodka (perhaps flavoured), soda and lime or my personal choice a slice of red grapefruit.

That is how it worked last year, who knows this year!!

I am in the U.K. And got an upgrade from a balcony to a 2 bed Haven suite last September on the Epic in the med. Just kept an eye on the prices before the cruise and two weeks out they had the suites at a good price and had them available. Called NCL Uk and paid the difference between the original booking and the new one. We were taking my Mum so for three of us it was just over £1k for all plus we got extra perks and kept all our old ones.
My Dad died a few months before we went and the staff made such a fuss over Mum and she loved the Haven. It was worth every penny as we loved it as well!

For Europeans passports are a must. We are not getting out of the UK without one and you won’t get in anywhere else.
I love just how happy US immigration are! ;p
