We took the plunge and are in a sky suite on our Apex cruise to Norway. Hearing the dos and don'ts of suite cruising intrigues me. I know so much is subjective and will keep this in mind.
What is your favorite aspect of being in a suite?
What do you wish you would have known about the suite life before your cruise?
What other advice do you give to a first time suite guest?
Looking forward to reading your responses.

No helipad sail away on Edge class ships. We were on the Beyond in a suite and that is what we were told.
I had a feeling this was the case, I have never saw one happen when we were on the Apex.
-
Out of curiosity, with the smaller helipads on E class ships, is there a helipad sail away on E class? If not is there a comparable substitute?
-
Looking forward to following along. Thanks for posting and the concierge class information.

There is a need for much more information, so we do not have to investigate your cruise.
What port(s) are you visiting?
Do you have specific needs?
Are there excursions about which you have specific questions?
The more details you can provide, the more individuals can help answer questions.
Glad to help if we can once we have more information.

Cruising as with life, your focus impacts what you get. If you water the weeds, they will grow and take over the beauty. If you water the flowers they will grow and you will notice them more. I do not ignore the weeds, I address them accordingly and then shift my focus to the flowers.
I do not think I have ever been on a perfect cruise, but each cruise is unique and each cruise on X has met my expectations. We love X and will continue to spend our money on a brand that although has changed a bit, continues to provide an excellent vacation.
I hope all who love to cruise can find the line that fits their unique needs, allowing others to do the same free of ridicule, second guessing, and negative comments.
The world is ugly enough, there is no need to take a beautiful thing like cursing and turn it into what we are trying to escape from.

Our experience is the same as @phoenix_dream. Buy a nice bouquet at Pike Place and enjoy for the week.

@debsjcIt will be June 5 on the Celebrity Beyond from Rome.
Have you heard anything about your bid?
-
I am loving this, thanks for sharing.
Who is the cruise director for your sailing and do you know if they will be on Apex throughout the summer?
Was the Le Petit Chef show the Le Petit Chef show or the Le Petit Chef & Family Show?

We sail in three weeks, move-up bidding is no longer available. The bid we placed shows pending and we are unable to modify or cancel the bid.
I find the fact we cannot modify or cancel interesting, and leads me to think acceptance of the bid will occur.
Any thoughts about this scenario?

Thanks and great job on the re-book so close to sail date. Got mine taken care of on the phone just now.
Yep I am reading and reading ~ SO much reading ~ and now I see there's a tour that picks you up after the cruise and ends at the airport. Not much more than the cost of an Uber so that's an easy win!
When the ships arrive back to port is there any wiggle room when you can disembark? IE if it gets back at 6am is that when they kick you off or can you linger a bit?
You will pull into the dock early at times before 6 am. The ship will need to clear some governmental red tape and you will be able to begin disembarking at 7:30 as a walk off and then they will start with groups by calling assigned numbers.

The question is has anyone had one accepted? They seem to be doing a big push with sailings 30- 75 days out based on comments. Wonder if they will confirm move-ups earlier or just keep you hanging like most until close to sail date?
We have heard nothing, we sail in 31 days.

Several years ago on Solstice we heard Brent and Mary Amanda, they are amazing. We enjoyed each lecture they gave. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Our Norwegian Fjord cruise departs on June 18, and this thread has me excited to check this off out list. Thank you to all who are posting.

@itsawonderfullife A move from a IV to concierge will not bring any changes to cabin as far as size is concerned. With concierge class you are eligible to take part in the welcome lunch, you will receive daily canapes (small bit size snacks), and one bottle of wine. (If I am missing something someone can correct)
$100 is a small amount so if you feel it worth it give it a go.

Looking forward to following along; this itinerary was our first ever cruise. We could not get into Tracy Arm due to ice so we sailed into Endicott Arm. I am excited to witness your adventures.

I received the same email today for our cruise departing June 18 from Rotterdam. The half off prices are much more palatable. My guess is the "select guests" are anyone with a reservation.

I am loving these posts about Amsterdam. We have a week in the city before our cruise, so these posts are tremendously helpful.

That's good to know. Either way, I'm not much of a wine drinker so while I appreciate them sending it to me it's a rather futile gesture in my case. I'd rather have two Alaska Rolls from Sushi on 5. 😁
I feel the same, I wish for a alternative to the free wine. Perhaps there is and I am not aware.
