  1. Hi everyone, I sailed on Getaway's 8/28 New England & Canada Tour. A challenge I found in the MDR and Cagneys was the most basic thing - food temperature. In the Manhattan, I had nights where the shrimp fettucine and the rotisserie chicken were just warm and not hot. I went to Cagney's twice and the first experience was so mediocre that half my group made a different specialty booking for the 2nd time. The first time it was temperature issue but my second time was incredible. For anyone familiar with Toronto (Ontario, Canada), I'd say that my second time at Cagneys was a step above the Keg but below Harbour 60/Barberians. So my question for the community is... what do you do in the MDR or a specialty restaurant if the food isn't up to par? Do you send it back for them to warm up or prepare a fresh one?
  2. IMO, NCL and RCL are in similar classes offering similar products. One is not worth double the other. I just sailed on a NCL cruise and I booked another one. But I would change allegiances to a much cheaper cruiseline! haahah. Save the money and put it towards another trip! @nferr congrats!
  3. 100% agree. Maybe OP can take a chance, but there's also the risk of this. Some of the tables are pretty tight and are pretty formal. The chairs and place settings at Cagneys are pretty wide so there isn't a lot of space to cram and extra person. Better to sort it out now or as soon as you get on the ship!
  4. My family is staying in a Breakaway Balcony Cabin. Does anyone know if kids bath robes are available? I know it's mostly one size fits all for adults but the kids in our group are 3.5, 10, and 13. Particularly for the pre-schooler, it would be great if there was something suitable aboard to wrap her up when she gets out of the pool - the itinerary is New England / Canada and we are worried that it might not be that hot. Otherwise, we will have to pack something.
