Does anyone know if Norwegian Cruise Lines offer this as an excursion? I know Carnival does, however, we will be on the Norwegian Getaway next July and my fiance is wanting to swim with the turtles! If not do you know how I can book it privately? Thanks!

I just stayed in this Cabin and I have mixed feelings about it. The balcony was amazing and the view was amazing! I did not feel that it was worth the extra cost from a regular balcony. This specific room is directly under the Havana Bar where they set up the instruments for the band. You hear everything until they stop playing around 12am. Luckily we were only in the cabin before 12am on this first night. The room is the same as all the other balcony cabins. During a rough sea day it was definitely worst in the rear. We will stay in a mid ship balcony next trip.

How about the steakhouse? You could arrange it beforehand with the staff and have them bring you your "special order" which would be the ring. ;)

Thats a great idea but I have hired a photographer to take pictures of the proposal and the sunset will make a nice backround. We do have reservations for the steakhouse right afterwards though!

I am proposing to my girlfriend on the Carnival Sunshine and I am trying to figure out where to do it. I was thinking the top serenity deck, however, I am not sure if it will be too crowded. This will be around 7:30pm. Will the serenity area be empty by then? Thanks for your advice!

I would like to go to the Blue Lagoon Island, just the beach. What is the least expensive way to do that and what transportation? No swimming with dolphins or anything, just beach. Thanks

The least expensive option would be to take a cab to the facility and buy a day pass. Do not worry about the excursions.

Last week I ordered one (1) $500.00 gift card from Verizon, got the order today and there were five (5) $500.00 gift cards in the package. These are not mine, my credit card was charged for just the one. On closer inspection, I noticed the invoice was not mine and was someone else's. I am going to have to call Verizon and get things straightened out.

 

I have the person's address of whom they actually belong to, should I send them to her and make copies of everything or do you think I should send them back to Verizon? I will ask Verizon thou. And I still need mine, someone out there got mine.

 

What a mess!! and my final payment is due August 3rd.

We had a aft balcony on deck seven and had no noise issues. Not sure what you mean by Havannah Club, I thought that was a new area on the Vista/

I set sail on the Carnival Sunshine in 12 days! I am booked in room 8339, which is an aft balcony. Now it looks like the rooms stick out further than the club, however, has anyone experienced any noise from the club at night? Thanks!

Thanks Psk2347 for taking the time to ask Mr. Heald. I too think he answered the question - he seems to be saying that Diamond, Platinum, FTTF and Suites can ignore the emails unless they specifically state that there will be a Coast Guard inspection.

 

Now if they turn me away, I'll say "John Heald told me I could get here early."

Yea i think he answered the question perfectly! I did not ask if they will be strictly enforced, however, I'm sure when that is the case Carnival will announce it.

I have messaged John Heald asking him to clarify the meaning of these emails and phone calls. Hopefully he will respond shortly.

We got that email on our last cruise. we indeed were not aloud to board until our scheduled time. We happen to be the first people at the port due to travel, and we still had to wait.

If i was denied access after buying Faster To The Fun, which they advertise as boarding at 11am, I would demand to speak to a manager and send a message to John Heald immediately. Its called Faster to the fun, not Wait For the Fun. It would be an awful way to start my vacation. I leave in 17 days and will be at the port at 10:30am regardless of what the email says.

Incorrect. I complain when I find FTTF is in the same room as me in certain ports, we we know we are supposed to believe they go AFTER all VIP categories.

FTTF is supposed to be in the main holding room, they are not supposed to have access to the VIP holding room. I can understand your concern with that.

Yes I'm diamond. But weddings through suites have paid for something else, not a place in line.

Both Early and Late Dining have been waitlisted so I don't think that many people have signed up for Your Time! Thanks for your help!

I can do this and if I wanted I can also purchase AARP/Verizon at a discount for OBC?

So, clarify for me, you can add money as to "Cruise Cash" and you can use it for anything?? Drinks (all) photos, ships store, its NOT designated then right?? I was going to add to both bar & photo separately but was worried about left over balances not being used. Cruise Cash the best way then??

Yes, however you have to buy the Generic Cruise Cash. Do not buy the ones that are designated Bar or Photo. The Generic Cruise Cash will work for everything.
