  1. How big is your group? The wine bar is usually pretty quiet and a good gathering place. If you have a REALLY large group, you could reach out to the Group Services Coordinator to set up meeting places.

    Good luck!

  2. I was there twice last week (Enchantment back-2-back) and I can say yes to the comped drinks (and they're strong!). Mixed answers now on the free admission to the pool and beach. Kids (16 years old) traveling with my friends were able to use the pool and beach for free, but I heard that sometimes there is a security guard and they make you pay $40 for a day pass (I guess you could gamble and try it?). I also heard that you can get a room for about $200 where you can use the facilities and enjoy a shower, etc. - a good option if you have a group of four or more and your ship is docked late?

I'm planning on flying down there to stay for a long weekend or a week sometime early this winter!

  3. Thanks for your review. I went to Baha Mar last week (on the Grandeur of the Seas) and while it was beautiful and I did pretty well on the slots, I found the dealers and supervisors to be woefully undertrained.

I'm still planning on returning in September (on the Enchantment of the Seas) and see if my lucky machine is still paying.

  4. Who do you talk to to make sure they apply your NR OBC properly? I hate to spend my last morning at Guest Services queued up with everyone else, but I didn't see the unused NR OBC until that last morning.

Should I buy something, then run to Guest Services to make sure they apply it right away?

  5. Anyone had any unused non-refundable OBC at the end of a cruise, when there were items that it could have been applied to?

Specifically, I have casino credit that they apply to my account. Any way to have the non-refundable OBC applied before the casino applies its credits?

    Thanks!

  6. Sorry to post this here, but I have only really gambled at sea (particularly with NCL CAS for almost two years) and I'm about to go on my first sponsored land-based casino junket trip to the Seneca Niagara Falls (they're paying for my airfare, ground transportation, hotel, and meals).

Not to sound dumb, but what should I expect to be different? Will the dealers be less friendly? Other players too? Will they have Ultimate Texas Hold'em? I don't think I'm ready to go head to head with real poker card sharks. Should I just stick to the slots?

Any advice would be welcomed. (And again I apologize if this is inappropriate.)

    Thank you,

    ~ Nancy :)
