We are not:( but there will be a large international/spanish group onboard from ambientravel from Barcelona. Just contact them on board and you can join them for party's for a small fee. Enjoy!

Congratulation, we celebrated out honeymoon on the Oasis of the Seas on october 14th. The only thing you can expect is a cocktailhour with the other honeymooners. In our case they even forgot to send us the invitation. So don't expect anything:), but enjoy the cruise!

Never again MSC, we loved the old ships Monterrey and Melody, but after a teribble trip with MSC Poesia we decided never to sail with them again. Terrible food and service. Ship was going to drydock after our trip and 3 days before the end of the cruise they closed all shops, sauna etc. Been on over 35 cruises and this worst trip ever.

Hotel New York and Nhow are both on walking distance from the terminal, if you have a hangover you can even crawl:)

Happy to see this thread is picking up. We got back this past Sunday from our trip on the Independence of the Seas. The trip was great! I go back to work this coming Sunday.......we are only about 5 months away from this TA. :D:D
HadesNL......we are currently booked @ Hotel New York for the evening prior to embarkation. It's my understanding the the Nhow is a new hotel...is it better in your opinion?.....also......are both of these hotels walking distance to the ship or transport/taxi is necessary?
Any suggestions you have for things to do would be greatly appreciated. We are staying in Amsterdam for 2 evenings (October 11 & 12) and Rotterdam the evening of October 13. I would like to take a canal boat ride...any suggestions as to where/which company may provide the best experience. We arrive on Delta about 6am the morning of October 11, so we have two full days in Amsterdam.
This is shaping up to be a great vacation! :)

For the Indonisian food you are at the right place:)
In Amsterdam and Rotterdam you have plenty restaurant. Just google "indonesisch restaurant" ( in Dutch:)) Rotterdam or Amsterdam and you will be fine.
Restaurant http://blauwrotterdam.nl/restaurant/ is not very cheap but very good and open on monday.
Have a drink on the Zeedijk in Amsterdam, great place with also nice restaurants.

Sorry for my late reply, lots to do in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Canalcruises are available, but you can also take a train to The Hague or Delft, public transport is very good in the Netherlands. If you need specific (gay) info please let me know
