Our ship is staying overnight in Livorno. We are planning on enjoying the evening elsewhere and returning to Livorno by train around midnight. Should I be concerned about safety at night? Would it be difficult to get transportation from the Livorno station to the ship or to the piazza? How late does the NCL shuttle run from the piazza to the ship?

Yes. They have carts that seat 8 (one being the driver). The last seat faces backwards, but the others face forward (3 rows plus passenger seat).

We were taken to a park and got some incredible sunset pics with St Peter's dome in the background. We were able to stop at a wine bar and pick up some wine to drink during the tour. Some of the places were beautifully lit up at night.

After seeing a recommendation on this board for Rolling Rome golf cart tour, our group of 7 (ages 50 - 86) booked the evening tour on their website. All 7 of us agree that it was the highlight of our vacation. The driver, Emmanuel, was so fun, and he was able to customize the tour for us. Thanks to the person who mentioned it in previous post!

I saw several posts about the fast track service at FCO when I was planning my trip. I used it Monday. When you present the paperwork to security, they let you through a separate line. The regular lines were not long at all at the time (8am), so it really wasn’t worth the €7 for us.

There is a 12:50, but it makes the trip 5 hours longer (long layover).

Hi, I haven't cruised in many years, and this will be my first time on Celebrity. I will be on Beyond in May. I am trying to arrange transportation from the Rome Civitavecchia port to FCO airport and the transfer service wants to know what time to pick us up. I can see that the ship docks at 5am, but how will I know what time to tell them? Our flight leaves FCO at 11am. Thanks!
