Thats what I wanted to make sure about. I’ll keep the cabana and will check if there are cancellations.
That is what I would do also if I just wanted the Vibe pass and not the cabana. However, I would definitely check every day. What sailing are you on in February?

i wonder if it's only available to book after you've paid for the cruise? I booked and paid in full for a cruise and bought the vibe passes while booking. I have another cruise in October that's showing "too early to book", but I've only put a deposit down on that one.
Since they started preselling the Vibe passes in the summer of 2022, I have always been able to secure the passes very far out of final payment.

This happened on the Getaway in October as well - it was quite a surprise and was not listed as a benefit but we happily took the free water.
We also happily took the free water!

Beware, some of the cabanas on the port side are near the Haven smoking section.
Thank you for this bit of information. I will definitely send an email beforehand and ask to have a cabana on the starboard side.

I'm not aware that you get anything other than a couple passes to the Vibe and the cabana. Only advice I have is "enjoy". Viva Vibe bartenders were great and strong proponents of "shot-o-clock" when we were there in December.
On the Encore this past February, both my husband and I were given the large box of water everyday. We did not know we were entitled to it; the Vibe staff handed it to us the first day and told us we can get one every day.

Wow....wishing you both a wonderful adventure! What an exciting way to celebrate retirement. I am looking forward to following your travels.

I just came off a cruise on the Joy and my balcony cabin on Deck 13 appeared nearly new. Almost no signs of wear.
Anyone else have similar experiences?
What cabin category were you in? For our upcoming June cruise, we originally had cabins on deck 15, but NCL moved us to deck 13.

Thanks for this question. I'm contemplating getting a Vibe Cabana for myself as well as gifting one to my sister. So what makes it worth $600 over a regular Vibe pass?
If you get a regular Vibe pass, can you use a cabana if it's not in use?
The crew in the Vibe know who has the cabanas. They will stop others from using your cabana when you are not using it.

Looking forward to your live review. Thank you and have a wonderful time! We are on the Joy in June. If you can, can you please post the dailies.

I was able to order cookies as dessert when in the MDR. I did not see any in the buffet but it was on the Sky and I mostly just walked through. But I did look at the dessert section each time.
Thank you for this information. I will definitely put this down on our notes for our cruise on the Joy in June.

The NCL ferry times aren't published anywhere. You'll be informed of the schedule while you're on the ship. If your itinerary is the same as an earlier NCL cruise if you check on the Roll Call for that cruise or just ask the question on the NCL board.
Yes, that is what I am planning on doing.

Still following along........
I really enjoyed your reports so far and the pictures. Thank you for taking the time to share your vacation.
Not a fan of NCL charging for shuttles to get to downtown.

Thank you for posting this information.
I will add the 15% to my budget to take a cab to/from Horsehoe Bay from/to the Dockyard.

Thank you for posting the new schedule!
Also disappointed with the fewer options for the ferry to/from St. George. Now to wait for the NCL ferry times.

But, guest feedback! You're missing that...guests totally want to change their travel plans due to NCL being...well...reactive to guest feedback. Don't you see how much fun @marktwothousand is having changing travel plans? 🙂
You are also forgetting it is what the "contemporary cruiser" wants.

We always go to the Local/O'Sheehans for our embarkation lunch (except once in the Haven) and have never encountered a wait. We board early, take care of what needs to be taken care of and then head straight to the restaurant. Fortunately, we have never encountered a wait even with a large group.

Which excursion is worth using the credit for vs doing on our own?
As you mentioned "the credit", I just want to make sure you realize that the credit is unlimited. It is per excursion.

@OrcaGirl. Really looking forward to another one of your live threads. Thank you and have a wonderful cruise.

If I recall correctly, at the end of that TA Doug wrote that they were stepping back from organizing all the events and live reviews since it had really taken over and away from enjoying themselves as a couple during the cruise, or something along those lines.
I recall that too.

Bliss Vibe update Alaska 4/16
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
Thank you for posting your Vibe experience so far for your Alaskan cruise.
We have passes for our June 2025 Encore cruise and with three see days (one being Glacier Bay), I would be very happy to have one really nice day weather wise. Regardless of the weather, I am sure our group will be spending a good amount of time there including sail a way.
Enjoy the rest of your cruise!
