  1. Yes please, please post the Fun Times & the Nightly menus in the MDR. They would be greatly appreciated by me. Thank you so very much in advance, Anna

Yes, I'll post the Fun Times, and the MDR menu's, not traveling with kids...but don't have a problem finding out anything related to kids and their programs. We have the itinerary of 3 stops. Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.

I am traveling with a handicap sister.

  2. Hopefully Carnival will be posting something soon, as Patricia is hitting Puerto Vallarta today. (more likely to get faster information from someone currently cruising on board the Miracle now).

Hope we hear something as we sail on the Miracle in 2 weeks....funny thing, I'll be cruising with my sister and her name is Patricia.

  3. There is an outdoor grill station near the pool that makes hamburgers and hot dogs at lunch time. There are some extras there like cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms etc.

I don't know what Guys offers so I cannot tell you where to find the extras you seek.

I don't find hamburgers exciting whether at Guys or anywhere else so I cannot compare quality for you.

Good to know.....just one of the things we enjoyed about "Guy's" is the grilled onions and mushrooms.

  4. This was sent to me.....I thought it would be great to see what everyone else's numbers were. ENJOY!

10 Signs You’re Addicted to Cruising

Cruise Fever, also known as post cruise depression, affects everyone in a different way. For some it starts the moment they head back to work yet for others it begins at disembarkation and while standing in line for customs. Here are 10 signs that you have Cruise Fever and are addicted to cruising.

    1. Every day you check your cruise countdown (via Ship Mate or other mobile app) to see exactly how many days you have until your next cruise. If this is one of the first things you do every morning when you wake up, you are addicted to cruising.

    2. You check in online for your cruise and print out your boarding passes the moment you make final payment, even if your cruise is 75 or more days away. For some reason, this makes it feel like you’re a little closer to your cruise.

    3. You begin researching your next cruise before you even start unpacking from your last one. Admit it, this is just about always true, especially after your first cruise.

    4. If your friends and family members tell you that you talk too much about cruising, you probably have Cruise Fever. This also includes sharing cruise pictures and articles on Facebook.

    5. When you head to bed at night, you get bummed that there is no chocolate on your pillow and your bed isn’t turned down.

    6. When you go out to dinner and you miss having menus that don’t have prices listed on them.

    7. If your Saturday and Sunday afternoons are spent watching the kroooz webcams (http://www.kroooz-cams.com) and watching cruise ships leave port, you just might have Cruise Fever. If you didn’t know that this website existed until now, you're welcome.

    8. You’re addicted to visiting cruise message boards or one of the various cruise groups on Facebook.

    9. If you find yourself constantly looking at pictures and videos from past cruises, it is a sign that you have Cruise Fever.

    10. If you eat, sleep, and dream about cruising, you are definitely addicted to cruising.

    I'm #'s 1-4-8-9-10

    What are you?

  5. I think Guys is MUCH better than the regular burgers.

I so agree about liking Guy's better and a lot more juicy, then the ships burger. The Blue Iguana isn't a big hit to me.....living in New Mexico our Mexican food is much better then the ships.

We cruise in November and really looking forward to cruising on the Miracle for the first time.

  6. From Carnivals "Bottomless Bubbles" description:

In all areas where beverage service is offered, guests may show the Bottomless Bubbles sticker and receive a glass of the carbonated soft drink of their choice. Juices may also be requested. Soft drink is served by the glass (16 ounces); juice is served by the glass (10 ounces).

    "Bottomless Bubbles" juices are:

    Orange Juice

    Cranberry Juice

    Tomato Juice

    Pineapple Juice

    Grapefruit Juice

    Fruit Punch Juice

Thanks for posting the glass size's.

  7. Close to our cruise on the Miracle and have yet another question .... We are not big soda or liquor drinkers, however, we doing like juices through out the day, mostly cranberry and apple. (OJ really only in the morning) I have looked into the juice packages (4 cans - 6oz for $10.00) and they don't seem worth it if I can go to the buffet area. I also don't mind getting the Bottomless Bubbles package.

    Here are my questions:

    1. I was wondering, in the buffet area what are the juices that the Miracle stores in their juice machines?

    2. Do they turn off the juice machines mid-day?

    3. Are you allowed to bring juices onboard?

I know that on some ships they won't carry the cranberry or OJ in the machines because of they are the popular mixer for cocktails.

  8. No, the Legends show was not on this ship. Nor the Talent show.

Don't fret, the Production Shows are truly very good.

I will not be able to vow that the new Male Lead will be as good as Chris Williams, he truly is an exceptional talent.

The Comedy Club is in the smaller lounge one floor beneath the Phantom Showroom. Plenty of room, no need for us to line up.

There are a few sightline issues with support posts in the showrooms, so maybe though seats are available, you may want to not wait to have to sit behind a pole.

Thanks for the info. My sister is in a wheelchair....so we probable will go early to avoid the rush for the comedy club....the main shows I'm not to concerned about. Like you said they always have plenty of room.

  9. Looks like it's going to be the Freedom mostly because it leaves on Saturday. The importance to this date is so that one of the guys cruising can get back to college sooner. The Magic seems to have more for kids to do and the Freedom is more geared to adults.

  10. We need a better ship for kids on wedt coast. New slides and sea side theater. I honestly don't understand why people pay to go on the miracle when you can fly out to galveston and Cruise for the same price. The cruise price is lower so that makes up the difference for the airfare that's what we do now

Being that 1 of the 3 of us getting ready to cruise out of Long Beach, lives in Los Angeles....and flying isn't an option for her. The Miracle will have to do. I haven't sailed on the Miracle yet....but I'm sure there is plenty for kids to do on the ship besides play on the slide and watch a movie from the sea side theater. However, I'm a little (just a little) that the ship doesn't have the sea side theater...but it's not a deal breaker for me.

I just wish that there were more ports for us to stop at.

(BTW - We like cruising from Galveston also)

  11. Thank you everyone for your comments.....greatly appreciate all the avice.

After much research to the Limo/transport company's in LA. I decided to go with ExecuCar. My reason being that we will have a private van for $206.00 round trip.

Carnival charges $60.00/round trip/per person for a total of $180.00. This is for a shared shuttle bus/van.

Since my sister will be bringing her wheelchair and is very slow in climbing, the least amount of stress she will endures the better.

Side note: A lot of the Limo companies would only price out Vans to us...saying that the law would not allow luggage to be inside the limo, only in the trunk. A couple of the limo companies would rent a stretch limo for $350.00 and up.

    Hope this helps others.

  12. I have always been able to get mine stamped at foreign airports or foreign ports if debarking. But mostly I had to ask for the stamp.

I assume she got the passport because everybody says to get one just in case something happens and you miss the ship or have to fly home mid-cruise.

We will check with Guest Services on board during our cruise.

Getting a passport was on her bucket list....and since it is only $100.00, at least now she can say that she has one. We hope this isn't her only cruise.....but unless a miracle happens and her health improves it most likely will be her only cruise. (Yes, I believe in miracles)

  13. My sister will be going on her 1st cruise (and probable her only one) to the Mexican Riviera. Since she had to get a passport to travel, she was so disappointed to hear that her passport won't be stamped to the cities that we'll be going to. Does anyone know where she can get her passport stamped at?
