Just "spinning" for me today. Normally logging in has worked fine for me but I do get dumped out way too often. I have also had issues for the past month or so where links don't work unless I right click and choose "open link in new tab". Such incredibly incompetent IT staff.

Well look who is head of Princess. 😉 A fish rots from the head down so goes the saying.

    Hey All,

If you look under restrictions on the request form below it says the following:

"This offer is good for only one stateroom occupied by the shareholder.
Only one benefit onboard spending money can be applied to a
stateroom, even if there are multiple shareholders in the stateroom"

So, its based on stateroom/cabin not on individuals status as couple, solo etc.

    Backup:
    https://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/contact-us/shareholder-request-form.pdf

You do realize that you are referencing an old out of date form that is no longer used by Princess.

The official information is at Carnival Corporation as that is the provider of the shareholder benefit.

    Please see  https://www.carnivalcorp.com/static-files/bc1b7f04-a3e8-4176-91ac-a529290fe45d

It details terms and conditions and how to submit the requested information.

When I email I use a subject line similar to "Shareholder Benefit Request - Sailing date: May 7, 2023"

In the body I use this format:

    "

    Shareholder Benefit Request

    Booking:  XXXXX
    Ship name:  Crown Princess
    Sailing date:   May 8, 2023
    Last name:  LLLLLLL
    First/Middle name:  FFFFF MMM
    Telephone number:  1 408 555 5555
    Email address:  someone@example.com

Attached please find brokerage statement 'First_Name_Brokerage_Statement-XXXX059-2023_04_20.pdf’
    "

I then make sure to attach the brokerage statement which I have generated in a custom format from the brokers web site.

Putting the requested information in the body of the email means that there is one less attachment for the recipient to open. If a clerk is busy they are going to deal first with the messages that have the required information in the body and fewer attachments to open.
I get very fast turn around on my submission for Shareholder Benefit.

I read it as meaning part of a west coast cruise.   Makes sense when talking about high food costs for west coast cruises.

There is a big difference between retail prices and wholesale prices. Princess purchases wholesale.

There is a wide variety of fresh produce available year round in California at reasonable prices.

Beef is an interesting story and prices have gone up nation wide due to consolidation of the ownership of meat packing houses. The large meat packing houses have decided they can earn more money by exporting the bulk of the higher grade cuts overseas which has led to an increase in meat prices domestically.

Beef and Guinness pie. They only have them every 4-5 days but they are a great late morning snack or a lunch.

On the Grand they used to have them every other day. The days that they did not have them was the day they had Steak and Kidney pie. Both were good. I saw neither on the Ruby May 2023.

  5. On our cruise in May 2023 the food quality and selection in the MDR, buffet and IC were not as good as previously. I noticed major changes to menus.

The big difference is that the head chef for Princess Cruise Lines is now Rudi Sodamin. He controls overall what is on the menus and what will be purchased for victuals. He also determines how the chefs and cooks under him are trained to prepare dishes.

Some of you may remember I started a thread asking about the very same issues. It is still going on and I am using Chrome on windows 11. However, if I just keep pressing enter after entering my email and password, it lets me in...generally on the 5th try but sometimes as many as 10.

Clearing cookies does not provide any relief. I have learned to just live with it as we're talking a few seconds of delay.

The thing about getting timed out and booted off (as the OP mentions) after some shifting amount of time as always been there since I started using the website. Yes, a pain in the tuckus but logging back in gets me back on track. Not going to bother to make a stink about it or find another cruise line. I have complaints about all of them.

Have you tried using a different web browser?

I use Chrome and still can't sign in, just tried a minute or so ago.

I logged in successfully a minute ago using Firefox.

You might want to consider using a browser that does not have as its sole purpose collecting user data. 😉

Biggest disappointment is Prince Rupert. Most don’t understand or care about Canada

Prince Rupert was already on the itinerary. It is a charming town with an interesting history. It is the farthest west rail head that connects to the east coast.  It has a few museums of note. It has good fishing and scenery and is not a tourist trap.

I understand that some people are just afraid of expanding their horizons.

Princess is providing more than adequate compensation for the delay and missed ports.
