Hi
Sorry if this has been covered before.
I have received Guest Ticket Booklet but see no mention of the drinks package which was definitely included in the booking.
Am I missing something? I would like some confirmation of this to avoid any confusion on board.
Any advice appreciated.

On one of our Celebrity Cruises there were many loungers in the Solarium with nothing on them but the Celebrity towels. I suspect many of them were from people who had left the lounger for good but did not bother to remove the towel. This is a pet peeve of mine. I am reluctant to remove the towel in case the person just left for a short time. If you are leaving the lounger for good, please take your towel too so it is obvious that the lounger is free.

Very rude and unhygienic !!! Who are these people?

Our last 2 Celebrity cruises were in Aqua Class and binoculars were provided. However, they were of poor quality - I would recommend you bring you own set if they are any good.

Thanks, that luggage storage idea might be just what we need
Busaras where this facility is, is on the way down to the port. Maybe 3 km at most and a taxi would be very easy to pick up there, as Busaras is the main Dublin bus station with taxi rank outside. It's also on the Luas, which is the Dublin tram system and this is a direct line down to the Smithfield where the Guinesss Hop Store is. You could maybe take the Luas down there and them walk back up to Busaras along the banks of the Liffey (2 or 3 KM) all the way and get a favour of Dublin before boarding.
Bon Voyage

It's really hard to believe there are 4 pages of comments on the lack, or otherwise, of prime rib. If ever there was a First World problem this is a good example.

Dublin native here. If you can get off the ship by 7 or even 7.30 you should not have any difficulty reaching city centre by 8.30. There is a tram (Luas) to city centre within a 10 or 15 minute walk from the port you can take if you have difficulty getting a taxi. The tram will not be impacted by traffic.

Just in case you are not aware, you can download music to your device prior to leaving and listen to this without wifi on the cruise. I know you can do this for Apple Music and Spotify - not sure about the other providers you mention. The same goes for Netflix content.

Thanks to everyone. I have contacted my TA

I am booking a new cruise on the Celebrity website. I am Select tier in Captain's Club which, as I understand it, allows to be a cabin upgrade within a class. In the online booking process I have inputted my Captain's Club number when requested. I am trying to book Aqua Class A1 at A2 price as I understand I am entitled to. But prices remain the same as I go through the process at the A! cost?
Any help here appreciated.

What I REALLY LIKE is the white ledge that's visible at toilet height that runs the length of the bathroom. It's great for putting all sorts of things that you use, including things like personal wipes(remember to ask for sanitary bags to put them in-done flush them!)
TMI (too much information)
Thanks

In my opinion you should not post photos of other people (as at the muster drill) without their permission. I would be very angry with you if I was in one of you photos.

If you're looking at the Celebrity itinerary, it won't matter as most of the time you will be too far from shore. What you miss on one side on the way up you will see on the way back. It's a fabulous cruise!
Not totally so. On way back you take a sea day and a half from Halifax to New Jersey so go nowhere near Bar Harbor or Portland. We were on starboard and the way the ship docked in Quebec we had beautiful view of the old city while port was looking out over an industrial area.

We just finished a cruise on the Summit last Sunday. One port morning there was a bad smell around the stair ways up to the Ocean View. I noticed that they had some type of fan/purifier operating outside the Ocean View. On our return to the ship in the afternoon the smell was gone. Other passengers commented on it as well. It was a sewerage type smell. It could possibly have originated from outside the ship/ Other than this small issue the Summit is a great ship and still in very good condition/

Hi.
Joining this cruise next Sunday. Any advice on what kind of weather we can expect this time of year in terms of what to pack?
Thanks
-
OP here. Thanks to all for advise. Pretty clear we do not need visa or ETA.

We are sailing the Summit to New England/Quebec in September form New York. We are EU (Irish) citizens. Obviously we need USA tourist visa. Can anyone let me know the visa requirements for Canada. Is it a normal tourist visa or is there an alternative as we are cruise visitors. Also are visas checked at every Canadian port and if so is this time consuming.
Thanks for help

Why does Blu have to close so early in the morning? On a sea day its nice to take your time. Seems to be set up to suit the staff more than the customer.

M class ships for me all the way. I hate the open atrium on S class with noise spilling into all areas including the library!

I'm sure there will be Celebrity representatives in the airport who will get you the desired transport. Worst case scenario would be taxi which would cost maybe €30.

Has Infinity been fixed? Does this propulsion problem impact present and future cruises ? I would not be happy to cruise on her until repairs have taken place. Particularly in dangerous waters around botton of South America.

We have sailed on the Constellation twice. Once 3 years ago and then again last year. We thought the food and service were very good on both cruises. Public areas in very good condition and always kept very clean. Our cabin was a little worse for wear(but clean) and this was disappointing. Two years ago we sailed on the Eclipse and while enjoyable found it a bit noisy and big for our tastes. Our preference is for M class ships which are far more relaxing.
Any new cruiser who are booked on the Constellation please do not be but off by negative reviews here. They seem like an overreaction to me. You will have a great holiday and will love the Constellation.

I was in Blu on the Constellation last July and there was not problem in ordering from the MDR menu. I often did.

Yes. It's around 4pm and I think there is a morning one as well on sea days.
