  1. The steakhouse used to be two different restaurants that were combined and it shows. Different carpet, ceiling, etc
  2. Hard to believe less than a month ago we were staying on Waikiki Beach. I'm going to need a vacation after all of this.
  3. Must be chocolate extravaganza day. Might get brutal as people line jump and break
  4. A quick search found one of mine from 2005, but my first Transatlantic was in 1974.
  5. I see the professional complainer is seated near me. They have already changed tables once to, surprise, a large table by the windows. Already snapping pictures of any possible defect they can find. I may have to cough in their general direction
  6. I'm almost certain they won't keep it. The line would interfere with the main business of selling seafood. A better question might be can I order seafood?
  7. I can sit and watch the water all day. Very relaxing and nature will sometimes surprise you with shows no lounge can top.
  8. It is most, if not every night, midnight-1:30am. Last night there were people elegantly dressed and people not so elegantly dressed.
  9. Midnight buffet menu. Lots of simple minded and seriously hungry folks queue up.
  10. Checked in for dining at 8:20, table was ready at 8:25. Done with dinner in under 60 minutes. Looks like they ran out of lobster - a temporary situation - the ship doesn't run out of lobster. They have to guess a couple of days in advance how many might be needed and thaw that amount. If they thaw too many, they go to waste. They can always pull more out of the freezer and cook them, but it takes a little while.
  11. It isn't. It is free/included. Not sure if it will survive to the next sailing. One thing I haven't seen the whole cruise are fresh seafood selections on ice
