  1. I do prefer the width of these cabins over that on the newest Carnival ships. The coffee table has returned and there is still room to walk around it.
  2. The shower has a shaving bar at the perfect location - behind you at +/- belly button height. Whether intentional of not, the grab hole in the shower door allows a steady stream of cool air to enter as the steamy air evacuates at the top of the door and gets sucked out. Result is a fog free to almost fog free bathroom mirror.
  3. No brunch today - breakfast and lunch in one of the MDRs. Our Diamond lunch is also today. Received the invitation in the middle of the night - lots of notice. 🙂 The ice machines on our deck (maybe all of them) don't seem to be working. We are supposed to call room service for ice. Room service apparently didn't get the memo. Need to investigate that more. QR-breakfast-menu.pdf
  4. It doesn't get any easier than being picked up at your hotel and dropped off at the top of the hill without having to walk up it. Having a tour guide with narration the whole drive there, and someone who knows where everything is and can lead you there - priceless. The ticketing process on weekends has changed to timed tickets.
  5. I really liked the tour and our guide was excellent. It was a small group - maybe 10 people? The guide gave us a good overview, showing us were everything of interest was and then cut us loose for about 2 hours on our own before heading off to Cava. They also do private tours, although I'm not sure how much they are.
  6. It has only taken an hour or so for MarQ to become annoying to me. That's about average. These CDs and their tag lines...
  7. Thank you. Hmmm. Were you on my tour? We went on an 8 hour tour. https://www.spaindaytours.com/barcelona-tours/montserrat-tour/
  8. The bar is open. Yes, the "duty free" shop is open in the terminal and yes, you can carry on. The booze I had already purchased in Barcelona, but decided to pick up a couple of bottles of wine, also.
  9. Need to keep a card, any card that fits, in the thing by the door to keep the lights on.
  10. This is the MDR menu for tonight and Wine List AT_Venezia_WL_0423.pdf QR_Menu-D1_VX.pdf
  11. I think the Emeril cooking demonstration cost a minimum of a $200 donation. I decided that was a hard pass for me.

  13. Whoa, that was bigger than I was expecting.... This place https://www.guelltapasbarcelona.com/ I ordered a few items for a room picnic. The bar tender seriously overpoured my drink there, but who's complaining? I guess I ordered enough food to justify it. The pics aren't the best - the food deserved better. I started with some Pan con tomate Bread with tomato / Pá amb tomàquet Some Iberian Ham (wasn't expecting it to be sealed, but that was perfect so I can keep for a snack later) Padron Peppers Grilled Entrecote and Chocolate Cake
