48 hour would make it difficult to resell the rooms that open up from people being upgraded.

I'm not heading out till the 28th, but watching my friend's cruise on the 21st. I hope they get their Haven.

Do Xmas and New Year's cruises sell out much? Or will they sail with some empties.

Packed to capacity always for holiday premium sailings, also all three of my bids were upgraded between 3 and 5 days prior to sailing patience helps with bidding

  2. Not to be rude but exactly what happened is what I said, I got off the floor at deck eight with my luggage, a cruise member was directing traffic I asked where to go for gold latitudes priority disembark he said deck eigh 5 o'clock somewhere bar, I walked in, showed my gold card and that was that.

  3. This was my experience twice on the Escape as gold not once, but twice, just doing what the crew told me to do when I asked where latitudes gold n above priority  disembark was, maybe it's a escape ship only thing, don't know but this was my personal experience two years in a row

Just off the Escape with Platinum status.  We had to pick up luggagee  tags since they were not delivered to our cabin as on other lines.  ONLY Haven passengers get special perks on both ends of a sailing (private seating area in NY terminal with food and beverages).  Platinum gets you nothing with NCL!!!! Yellow tags are not even put out -- you must ask for them and show your card.  You need to get on the long line that goes around the ship to get off as soon as the last self-carry group departs the ship.  No desiginated area for Platinums to sit and wait until you are able to get off.  We waited as close as possible to our departure time to go to deck 7 and sat on chairs in the Casino.  Once in the terminal in NY (at least) we quickly found our luggage since there are not too many Platinum members on board.

Once you reach the equivalent of Platinum status you have a designated waiting area with seats and refreshments.  If there is any delay, at least you are sitting comfortably instead of waiting on a line that winds around the ship with grumbling passengers.

I just got off Escape yesterday nov 11th, and this was not my experience at all and I'm was only gold on this cruise.  Did exactly what I did last time asked a friendly crew member where to go for priority disembark for gold n above they told me five o'clock somewhere lounge same as my last cruise.  We were escorted off thru the cruise quarters and missed that line, it's good for easy walk off or with tags, easy walk off escort was at 730 or with tags 830.  Surprised you didn't get same service as platinum?  Suggest asking at guest services in future maybe?

  6. Wow, my experience is total different and I'm only gold.  With gold you get priority disembark just like platinum.  On our Escape cruise in Dec we wanted to do the walk off ourselves but wanted to first off after suites, we asked at the desk and they told us to be at the 5 o'clock somewhere bar at a certain time and someone would escort us off, the did escort the few who showed up off via private cruise quarters elevator and we were directly behind haven passengers, it was awesome

  7. Darnit! Every time someone turns me onto a new site, I get all excited and then find out it still just shows a max of 15 per category and the same available rooms as I can find directly through the NCL site! Just tried it. It's still capped at 15 rooms per category and won't show you anything different than what I can see through mock bookings on NCL.

    LOL

I too was excited until I counted to 15 and then another category only 15 again so no more help than Official Ncl website or big box TA'S darn
