No panning, the picture is crystal clear. With her the only one present of 2 ships [ the other due 11 am AST] there are no blockers - just distance from cam.
It is 06:47 am AST and she is already in the basin.
This will be fun trying to figure out when Noordam will arrive on cam.
8 am AST usually means arriving between 6 and 7 am AST. 10 am AST usually means close to on time [the pattern so far this season]. 9 am AST is halfway between - do I look early, early or focus on the announced ETA? 🤔 Plus it's a one-off instead of a routine arrival.
At least I won't have to remember for the following week.
Westy is about 45 min to an hour away. Encore is well behind her - so no sail-in view blockage today.
No panning - no raindrops - we are good right now.
The weather is clear, there is no panning. But there is already a view blocker right in front of the camera.
Eurodam is first, about 40 minutes away, Kdam is just north of Tracy Arm - so probably an hour.
I don't know how much we will see today because of the switching of docks. Next Monday is there last visit to Juneau - both of them.
Another double sail-in. I understand [from posters in Alaska] there is an ice problem at Tracy Arm, so no stopping there - meaning the ships are usually early.
Clear weather but it is getting colder even without the rain.
She has disappeared behind Quantum.
Double sail-in Monday, Days are running out in Sept for Alaska - but none of the BHB have left yet.
Thanks, Kathi, for the thread.
Zuidy is just south of Tracy Arm - so probably an hour and half yet to Juneau. Looks like she'll be arriving at right about her 1 pm AST - ETA
Quantum otS - our view blocker is already in place.
NOT panning, and so far, NO raindrops on camera.
Zuidy has been moved from the Franklin St dock that she has been using for a couple of months.
Unless Zuidy beats view blocker Quantum otS, we still won't see much, But maybe no raindrops. 🙂
Thanks, Kathi, for the reminder and docking locations.
I guess I'll go, nothing more to see. She is cozied up to the pier.
Zuidy tomorrow at regular afternoon time.
Have a good day, Roy. Thanks , Kathi, for the thread.
