I too have done the Museum tour. In the courtyard while waiting for our trolley back to the ship, we were entertained by a local group of teens playing their instruments. I don't know if they were rehearsing or if it was a normal afternoon event - but it was very nice and the weather was beautiful. This would have been in the month of June. Valentin sounds like a fun CD. On a riverboat - CDs make all the arrangements, when we had to change disembark ports because of high water, all that fell to the CD to arrange for each person.

Looks like Zaandam will be just a couple of days behind the bad weather. And no special inspection, since they have been in the US all this time.

I keep my sound turned down, so I never hear them. Only when there is fog and no noisemakers - do I turn it up so I can hear the ships coming in.

Thanks, Kathi. I wonder why they moved Kdam to the even further from the camera Franklin St dock - on these last 2 sail-ins. I was surprised last week and it is the same this week. There is no other ship at AS dock - maybe doing some maintenance before the snow flies and while the season is finishing? I do plan to be here - one last time.

That was the last Juneau sail-in for these BHB. Only our 2 normal Monday BHBs next week. - Eurodam and Koningsdam. Thanks for the thread, Kathi.

Westy is in the basin and heading for the dock. We won't see her long as she is close to being blocked out by NA.

We have the flying noisemakers today. - the weather has improved.

Westy now in view - she will soon be in the basin.
