No, you shouldn't. Many have reported being able to buy single packages on board.... We'll find out in 3 days :) We've never had an issue in the past.
-
Oh, DH and I were quite happy by the end... LOVED it!!!
-
We're sailing on the BA this Sunday... will post pics of the menus when we get back.
-
WE are cruising on BA June 15th and have gone ahead and bought the UBP. Does anyone know if they issue your sticker for your card at check in, or do you have to go to one of the bars? Thanks guys
Make sure you join our roll call if you haven't done so already. We're having a Meet N Greet on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in La Cucina.

Love, love, love the crab eggs benedict! So excited it's in the Haven restaurant!
-
When you come back can you post pictures of some of the Menus ?
Definitely!
-
Not sure if we'll attend. When/where is it? I may swing in quickly to say "hi". We must meet and have drinks, though. Would also love to take a peek at the Haven.
Absolutely... email me and I'll give you our cabin number: toastmaster_liza@hotmail.com
Also, the M&G is Monday at 11:00 a.m. in La Cucina

I'm Liza and DH is Jim. We are in the Haven... are you coming to the M&G?

2cruise4ever.. I think we have met and sailed together before. My old screen name was Logcabin. I believe my wife and I met you several cruises ago on the Dawn. Perhaps we had dinner together with Hugo one evening. Does this sound familliar. Trying to remember now. We will be on this Sunday's cruise also.
OMG!! yes, I certainly do remember you... is it Scott? And, I can't remember your wife's name.... We did have dinner with Hugo. And, you brought some clients on board for a tour... that's why our cabin was ready as soon as we boarded... ours was one on the tour. It'll be good to see you again!

Have a great trip
Can u please find out how much the laundry is and if it's only 1 bag allowed at that price and is the bag large

You got it! I'll take a picture of the laundry bag next to something for size comparison for you. Typically, we send a ton of clothes out to be pressed: Suits, blazers, dress shirts, etc. And, it all fits in two bags (for 4 people).

When I went to Bermuda years ago the Town Crier would be out on the Fort and would ring a bell welcoming the ship and they would set off a small canon. It would be nice to know if they still do this? If was a nice welcome to Bermuda.
I believe he still does that, but in Hamilton only. The many times we've been to Bermuda, coming into the Dockyard, I haven't seen the Town Crier... it would be a nice welcome, though.

Morning all :)
Sorry VickiD. It's starboard today.
Where were you last week cockney?
Oh look! Haven people on their balcony!! When does that happen? Never!

Oh I wish all had the same experience we had with Monica...on the Jewel in 2011...she bent over backwards for us...even coming to our cabin to tuck in our DD when she was over tired...she was inconsolable... until Monica showed up....

I opened google maps and I typed " 9 Beaches, Bermuda" and there are 2 locations on the map....
Bernews reports it as a place to go this summer...and a web site says open back in 2015 ....
confusing.....
Way bizarro... I just did the same thing and only found one...
-
I've never heard of two different 9 Beaches. It looks like they are one and the same, though from the pictures -- exactly the way I remember it.

I did the 2day CTN on Breakaway last year the last weekend in Jan. Embarkation day was too cold to enjoy the outside but the next day we had gone just far enough south that we were able to enjoy everythng including the pools and slides!
There were plenty of indoor activities as well such as movies, games shows, bingo, trivia etc.
We did the same cruise this year and loved it! Yes, it was very, very cold. But, we got a kick out of watching the bartenders outside with their mittens and ear-muffs mixing drinks. Definitely enough to do inside for a quick weekend.

Would love to know what night the chef's table dinner is held. I know it's extremely tough to book (only 12 seats, and typically once/cruise), but if you happen to be speaking with someone at Guest Services, I'd appreciate the input. Thanks!
Definitely will do! That's something we'd like to do, too.

Three is correct!
One in the main room and one in each bedrooms. The two bathrooms was fantastic too!! ;)
The one thing we'll miss is the 4th tv in the master bathroom above the tub. Had that on both the Dawn and Jewel. DS and DD each would spend hours lazing in the tub watching a movie...

Good morning. I would like to know a bit about the embarking process and what deck do you board at. Also how much does a taxi cost to go to HorseShoe Bay Beach any Vibe info. Thanks so much and do enjoy your cruise.
When we sailed back in January, we boarded on Deck 7. I'll try to find out the taxi cost to HorseShoe Bay Beach, but we'll be using the bus/ferry system... much more economical. Vibe has been discussed extensively here on the NCL board. Passes are limited. So, once you board, go directly to the Guest Services Desk (the Vibe line forms to the right of it) to get passes. I can't remember the cost, but I know you can do one-day passes or the whole week.

OK, here's what I have so far:
• CC requests:
o Taylor95: bus/ferry tickets (not passes) at dockyard
o VickiD59: Dockyard festival on Wednesday night 2300 to 0300??
o BermudaBound2014: What day do they offer the laundry special? How much is a bag on special and how much is a bag not on special?
o Sebas030: If you could take a picture of the Martini drink menu, that would be great! I would love to confirm that the prices for the drinks are the same even after the increase of the UBP.
o SizzleChest: Many times cruises run specials on things like liquor and jewelry, but when is the best time to buy? Are discounts best at the end of the trip, or in the middle? Also, please collect the dailies and post them. NCL just moved the schedule around, so the ones on I've seen are probably wrong.
Should I come back here and post the results or put them in a new thread? I'll write a review as well (including pictures and the dailies)

Hi,
If you could take a picture of the Martini drink menu, that would be great ! :D
I would love to confirm that the prices for the drinks are the same even after the increase of the UBP.
Thank you in advance,
Have a save cruise !
Thanks and will do!

What day do they offer the laundry special? How much is a bag on special and how much is a bag not on special? (We're doing pre-cruise for several days in Manhattan and I'll need laundry at some point). Thank you!!
HAVE A WONDERFUL CRUISE!
Thank you! In our experience the laundry bag special is usually the first night. But, I don't remember the cost. I'll find out though and let you know.
packing

One thing I learned here on CC: place everything you plan to pack on your bed and then scoop half of it off.... pack what is remaining :) Resist the urge to pack something "just in case."
Here is a fairly simple list: http://www.cruisewithgambee.com/what-to-pack-for-a-cruise/
I agree with others about magnets, highlighters, flashlight, OTC meds (they're very expensive in the gift shop), plenty of SPF.
