  1. I'll read your review - and then probably ignore it.  Lol  I loved my last cruise on Solstice (couldn't fault the food) and am really looking forward to my next one in a few weeks.  I'll find out for myself if anything has slipped since last cruise.  But even if it has, it's still better then being at work. 🙂

     I rarely use ATMs but always thought $2 was the usual if not using your own banks' ATM.

    A Google search turned up this;

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATM_usage_fees

    Not sure how up to date it is.

     It changed a while back (2017?) - the big 4 banks stopped it anyway.  I notice the ones that used to be free - like Rediteller - now charge it instead.  The ones that will always charge are the privately owned ones.

    Just a reminder to all on privacy and who is watching what we do. I checked trivago for the going rates of Singapore Hotels and am now getting Singapore Hotel ads on my home page .

    Big Brother is watching.

    It's really weird when you google something at work and then ads for it come up on your home computer.

    As for Singapore, we stayed at Novotel Clarke Quay a few years ago.  Clarke Quay is a great area and handy to everything.  Discovered food was real cheap (and tasty) in the foodcourts which were everywhere.  I think we were paying about $3 - $5 a plate.

  4. The locals run their own tours there as well so don't have to pay the overpriced Celebrity tours.  They are all waiting for you when you get off the ship.  I think we paid something like $20ea (at the most) to go in a little minivan driven by a local and taken around the island for a couple of hours.
